If you are entitled to the seats in the u.t pool (85%) then according to last year's statistics you should get in with 490 marks. If you're trying through the all india pool (15%) you need a score of 610+ marks/ all india rank in top 200. All the best.

Hey.
The cut off for admission in government medical colleges in Assam in the previous year 2018 under the State quota for the ST Hill category was a score of 230+ marks. And for admission under the ST Plain category the cut off for admission was a score of 270+ marks.
The cut off for varies each year due to several factors like level of difficulty and level of competition etc..but you still seem to have a fair chance of admission in a government medical college in Assam. You can use the link below for previous year trends.

In 2018, under State Quota for ST Category, 251 marks secured a seat in Gauhati Medical College. So at 302 marks you have a fair chance. You alsonhave a chance at:

Assam Medical College
Silchar Medical College
Jorhat Medical College
Tezpur Medical College

Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can also check the cut offs of various different colleges under your Category at

hey

you cannot get seat in gmch assam with 302 belonging to any reservation categoy because the previous year cut off of gmch assam was 477 marks for general category, 396 417 and 331 for OBC, SC, ST respectively under state quota. you may s get seat in dental college or any private college.

Sorry to say but it is difficult for you to get admission in AIQ seats in GMCH, Assam at this score. According to the last year cut off, 436 marks was the cut off for ST category candidate to get admission in this college.

At this score, you can get admission in state quota seats in GMCH, Assam. The cut off last year was 251 marks for state quota seats.

With 600 marks in NEET UG, you can get very good colleges all over India. You can even apply for AFMC, Pune which is one of the most elite colleges in India and get through.

According to Akash answer key i am getting 589 marks in NEET 2019 . I belong to UR category . Can i get a seat in gmch 32 (chd.) (85% quota)

589 is a great score to enable yourself a seat in GMCH , Chandigarh.
My heartiest congratulations on securing such a score.
Although the cutoff is bound to rise this year, still with 585, you are supposed to be on the safer side.

Well, if we look thorough the statistics of GMCH, Chandigarh in the year of 2017, we get to know that the closing rank for the UR category for state quota was 561. You can go through the below mentioned link :

Hello Dwipjyoti !
It's quite for tough for us to let you know that there's almost no chance for you to secure a seat in GMCH, Assam.
If we go through the statistics of 2017, the closing rank of GMCH in second counseling was around 65,000 which would roughly correspond to a marks of about 420.
In a similar scenario, the NEET Phase 2 saw the closing rank of GMCH at 20,000 considering NEET Phase 2 to be quite difficult, the closing marks would surely have been more than 420.
With 302 on board, even a ST certificate might not help you enabling a seat.
