The cutoff changes every year. It depends upon a lot of factors, like the number of students qualified, the type of the difficulty level of question, the no of students appeared, the Highest score.

According to me with 580 marks in general category, you should get government medical College of your state, this data is based on the last year's cutoff.

Hello,

According to the previous year’s cut off trends of Government Medical College (GMC), Chandigarh. If a candidate (General Category) can get a rank in a range 30 to 150(AI Quota) then there are high chances of landing in GMCH, chandigarh (http://collegedunia.com/college/10471-government-medical-college-and-hospital-gmch-chandigarh)

If a candidate is entitled in State Quota seats (85%) than a score above 490 or 500 would do. So yes with a score of 590 you have high chances of getting mbbs seat at gmch (chandigarh).

In case of AI (15%) candidates, a score of 600+ is required to be in top 200.

Hi,

If truely said that no, not at all. I didn't think that it is going to be easy at all as this time candidates got alot of time for proper studies due to this pandemic.

So, its a great opportunity for all those candidates who had really prepared well to get a god medical college .

Hope this will help you out.

Good luck.

Hello Aspirant,

Well, Admission to MBBS/BDS courses offered by GMCH, Chandigarh is carried out through NEET 2018. If a candidate is entitled to State Quota seats (85%) than a score above 490 or 500 would do. In case of AI (15%) candidates, a score of 600+ is required to be in top 200.

So here you go.

This may help.

Happy learning!

The NEET cut off for Chandigarh will be released after publishing the NEET Result 2019. It is expected that the GMCH will release the NEET CUT Off 2019 for Chandigarh in the 3rd week of August 2019. This cut off will represent the last rank that will be considered to offer admission to the applicants in Chandigarh medical colleges.

Both the colleges have a equally likely rating of studies. If you want to choose on conveyance and proximity from home, then GMCH Guwahati would be better. You can choose any of the two, both are equally good.

All the Best!!

Gauhati Medical College is ranked 39 whereas RIMS Ranchi is ranked 47 as per Careers360 ranking. Additionally, the fee at RIMS is much lesser than that of GMC, Guwahati. MBBS in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi has lower cutoff through NEET UG. Both are considered to be best colleges.

I suggest that you use the College Compare Tool to draw a comparison between the two colleges. The tool will draw distinctions based on various parameters such as fee, placements, infrastructure etc. and hopefully aid you in making the right decision which you need to.

Hello Aspirant

If we talk about Infrastructure and Hostel life of both colleges, there's no major difference as both colleges have almost same facilities offered and they both have good and hygienic mess food also neat and clean hostel rooms.

I'll suggest you to choose college as per your preferred course that which college offer that course better.
