Haldia Institute of Pharmacy is well equipped with laboratories and equipment to give the students hands-on training in the field of pharmacy. The college has a sufficient number of labs for undergraduate training in all the major areas of pharmacy. The labs are well furnished and designed to permit students ample working space. All security measures have been put in place to assist in case of emergencies. The area of the laboratories complies with AICTE standards and the types of equipment are maintained as per PCI guidelines. Every six months an audit of chemicals is conducted by the lab attendants.

the library has a good collection of textbooks, reference material, periodicals, newspapers & pharmaceutical journals published within the country & abroad. To date, 1955 books are present in the library & more are being added constantly to make it update & reach for the purpose.

A fully air-conditioned and 100 seats centralized Mini Auditorium of 1000 sqft is ideal for a seminar or conference or Video Conference.

Football, cricket bat, pad and ball and gloves, provision for the stage, watering, volleyball net. Jersey is provided at the time of the tournament. An annual sport is conducted every year such as HIP Soccer League, HIP Cricket Championship, HIP Badminton Championship, etc. The institute also supports organizations and other institutions for sports and other events in respective categories through sponsorship.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
