Worst placements, good facilities and infrastructure

Writing this review just to make aware of the real happenings of the college & save you from making a mistake. The infrastructure & faculty is good. Also experienced and helpful professors. But the important thing you get into a MBA college is placements. Placements are worst. Very few companies coming on campus & that too with packages from 3-4 Lpa. It's a fraud as they show average package as 5.5 Lpa. Placement cell is very rude and they debarr you if you don't get selected saying you are not fit for placements and may affect college's reputation. Improper management, you may get a call for interview 1 hour before the interview. Also sometimes you are forced to sit for interviews reason being the same (college's reputation) even if you are not interested in the profile. Companies count for HR & Operations is negligible & and very few for Marketing & Finance. Even finance students are forced for sales profiles. All the companies that come are for sales profiles where as they show companies for advertising, marketing, research, etc. Students have to look for jobs & summer internships from outside. After all, the placements is all that matters in an MBA college.

iam confusing to choose between EE,EEE,ECE,MCE at DTU.which branch will give me better future in placement and govt jobs like PSU, IES.

Ashlekh Sahu 12th Jun, 2018
Hi Sourav,
If you have interest in coding then you must go with MCE. But in MCE their is a little chance of getting jobs like PSU and IES. If you have a strong conept of Maths and coding then you must go with MCE. But in MCE you can get a good jobs with good packages initially. But if you want to do govt jobs you must go with EEE so that you can crack IES, GATE and other PSU exams. I hope this might help you.
All the very best!
