Institute of Genetic Engineering, Kolkata offers some modern facilities to students to offer a smooth and effective learning experience. The library is divided into two parts; One part all textbooks are kept (more than 1000 books) for access to all students and the other part is assigned to the digital library (e-library). This digital library has a broadband internet connection along with an e-book & Journal ( 3000 textbooks and 7000 Journal online).
I.T Infrastructure
IGE Kolkata IT Infrastructure introduces students to all the updated and modern services such as computing facilities, wifi connectivity, CCTV surveillance and many others.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The institute has its own multi-cuisine food center along with a canteen which is also a part of the social life of the students.
Auditorium
IGE Kolkata auditorium is available with all the essential services like spacious sitting arrangements, lighting facilities, sound system and many more. IGE Kolkata auditorium is used for multiple activities like workshops, seminars, symposiums and other academic activities.

College Infrastructure

The ininfrastructure of is average, but the equipment of is very poor. Some device are kept there just for show, some are broken. The classroom is okay. The canteen is not hygienic at all, most of the time foods are not available.
