Institute of Home Economics, New Delhi offers admissions for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. IHE New Delhi admission into undergraduate courses is done based on CUET UG scores whereas IHE New Delhi admission into PG and doctoral courses is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination followed by an interview process. The admission support committee at IHE New Delhi follows the guidelines laid down by the University of Delhi for the IHE New Delhi admission process.

• Scan and upload the documents if necessary.

• Submit the application form with the application form fee.

BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), BSc, and BElEd are the IHE New Delhi UG courses. The students must regularly check the admission portal, any changes made by the University are updated on the UG admission portal. IHE New Delhi courses are truly multidisciplinary and give knowledge of Social Sciences, Biological, Physical Sciences and many more. BElEd programme aims to produce graduates of high calibre in the field of elementary teacher education.

IHE New Delhi UG Admissions Process 2024:

• Qualified students are advised to meet the IHE New Delhi eligibility criteria.

• Prospective students are advised to acquire merit in the CUET UG exam.

• Aspirants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• Merit students are advised to appear for the counselling process on the subjects they have selected during CUET Exam.

• The applicant's performance in the counselling process is evaluated. 

• Based on the evaluation, applicants are allotted seats.

• To get the allotted seats reserved applicants are advised to pay the IHE New Delhi course fee through online mode.

• To get the IHE New Delhi admission confirmed, applicants are required to get the documents verified.

PGD and MSc are the two IHE New Delhi PG courses offered for IHE New Delhi admissions. Applications are to be submitted in online mode only. Students who are awaiting the undergraduate results are not eligible for IHE New Delhi admissions. Students whose names appear in a previous merit list will not be given IHE New Delhi admission once the next merit list is announced.

• Eligible students are advised to fulfil the IHE New Delhi eligibility criteria.

• Applicants are advised to acquire merit in the qualifying examination.

• Based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination, applicants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• Merit students are advised to appear for the counselling process.

• Evaluation of the counselling process is consistent, during the time applicants are advised to pay the IHE New Delhi course fee.

• To prove the authenticity of their credentials, applicants are advised to submit the documents for verification to get the IHE New Delhi admission confirmed.

PhD Home Science is the doctoral course offered for IHE New Delhi admission. The course duration of Phd at IHE New Delhi is six years. Aspirants are advised to submit the research proposal in the prescribed format within the given time. The corrigendum about any of IHE New Delhi admissions is updated in the admission portal.
