B.Sc Geography Hons at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata Offline Course

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Geography is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

He department flourished under the able guidance of late Professor Binapani Mukherjee and later Professor Maya Dutta. From 2003 the department started a post-graduate course and has earned the reputation of being the first Post Graduate department in the college. Dr. Anjana Ghose the then Head of the Department smoothly guided the department under several odds through a period of transition. Prof Jayashree Roy Chowdhury, Present Director of Public Instructions was the student of the department and was the teaching faculty and Head of the Department of Geography. .At present, the department runs as an autonomous and independent credit-based semester system in the two years’ Post Graduate course. A few of the undergraduate students have completed their Master’s programme from the department.
