Eligibility Criteria

For B. Tech.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Lateral Entry to B. Tech.

Three-years diploma (completed) in any of the following branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate* from any recognized Diploma awarding institute/university/board recognized by AICTE:- Computer Engg; Automobile Engg; Chemical Engg, Civil Engg, Construction Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical Engg., Maintenance Engg., Plastic Engg., Printing & Publishing, Production Engg., Public Health & Environmental Engg., Tool & Die Making.

Admission Details

B. Tech.

All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of MSIT is decent but of old style and built. The campus area is pretty small of 8 acres and doesn't have any type of extra curricular facility as well, the classes are Non-AC and have that old styled benches in the classes. Although there's a common ground for all the sports activities like cricket, football, sports meet, etc There is one auditorium as well which is of decent seating capacity but that too of non-AC type. Overall you can expect all the basic needs like separate lifts for teachers and students which is very useful for classes at 6th floor in 1st year, laboratories of every subject if needed, small canteen but not the advance facilities at all. Don't expect to get wifi in college except the library area. One good thing is that both boys and girls hostel are within campus area but hostels are very congested and mess food is also not that good. The rooms are pretty small after accommodation of two students in a room.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good and well-maintained everytime. The classrooms are clean and fitted with projectors for digital learning. Each branch has its own dedicated labs with updated systems and tools, making practical work smooth. The library is a major support for students, with access to books, journals, and e-learning resources. The canteen and common areas provide a good hangout spot for students. Sports facilities are available, and the college also organizes annual cultural and technical fests.

College Infrastructure

Total campus is well-structured and provides a good environment for studies. Classrooms are properly maintained, and labs are equipped with the necessary systems and instruments for practical learning. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, which helps students with online resources. The library has a wide collection of reference books and also provides digital access. Hostel facilities are limited, but students living outside find good PGs nearby.
