College life:its very difficult to bunk ...study related to the subject is main focus here... branches like IT and comp lets u learn amd explore more as compared to other branches....hostel life is fabulous its fun at night time...only bad and worst thing is they wont allow u to sit in practicals the very next day of ur absence without a valid reason

Should give more industrial explore to student ... work on excellence for better knowledge.. allow more extra curricular activities.. boys hostel is awesome... faculty always try to teach what's in course not beyond that..... placement should allow more government jobs to college not just private jobs...

MIT AOE is famous because of the tag of MIT but do not get fooled with the tag of MIT. It is not at all worth the four years of time. You will learn nothing here except of being in good books of teachers. If you do not agree with teacher's point of view then they will screw your happiness by giving extremely less term work. College has a good campus but do not get deceived by it. Girls hostel was pathetic in my time and boys hostel is a dream place to stay. Please think twice before joining!!!

Location: Located at Alandi, outskirts of Pune city. For students no good places to hangout around the college. Accessibility: Frequency of buses is ok. Commutation is a problem during festival season when a lot of people visit this temple town. Absence of college bus for students is a problem. Infrastructure: Labs are well equipped with all the instruments. Absence of proper playground is a big problem. Central college library is well stocked but individual department libraries are ill-equipped. Faculty: Teachers are average.Lack of experienced teachers is a problem. Internal marks given by teachers are at lower end when compared to other colleges. Food: College canteen is very small. Fold options around are not great. Finding non veg food in Alandi is difficult. Placement: Students have to go to Central MIT College for placement purpose. A lot of companies come for placement but a very few high paying companies. Some companies don't shortlist students from Mae College. A lot of students get placed, but a high percentage of students don't get placement from college. Package wise its average. Crowd: It's majorly local students with a small number of students from outside state. Hostel: Boys hostel is very well built with a lot of facilities, but the high hostel fees makes it difficult to afford. Fees and charges: Fees is on higher end when compared to other colleges, but other than fees college doesn't charge for other facilities. College fests: The college doesn't conduct a central fest. All departments have separate fests. Due to the far location students from other colleges don't participate much. Internet lab: Its mostly occupied with slow speed internet.

1. MAE offers good but very high priced hostel facilities. MAE has separate Hostels for Boys (Prayag) and Girls. 2. Mess in MAE serves the worst quality of food. 3. In sports , they just have one rectangular field of 20*25 mts in which students play football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho , cricket and sometimes fighting also. :D 4. For any sort of party they don't even have a proper auditorium in which at least 30 people can accommodate. 5. Crowd: Ok-OK . 6.Hangout: Unfortunately, there are NO hangouts anywhere close to MAE, Alandi. You need to travel a good 10-12 km for some civilization. Central Pune's JM Road, FC Road and MG Road, the most happening places in Pune, are almost impossible to reach from here unless you take the whole day out for a nice little trip. 7.Faculty : its hard to find a single professor who speaks fluent English, and most of the faculty changes every single year. Seniors professors are few, and they don’t seem to make a huge difference either. 8.Infrastructure is pretty good, apart from the fact that they don’t have a ground. Classrooms are clean and well kept, and labs are new. The building is nice and well-maintained too. 9.Full form of college is Men Academy of Engineering. :D 10.Moreover, it is not in city-it is village- transportation, accommodation, health are serious issues which can not be taken lightly - it cost you more and return is not worth- do not believe web advertisement- see how many unfilled position of professor- how many students score rank or distinction in university- coaching classes outside college speaks volume about quality of teaching- every year 50000 seats go vacant wait till second round is over you will see all colleges have vacant seats and you can get in to best college near you home or in Pune city- it is very costly here
