The food is good, but sometimes the maintenance work lags a bit. However, the hostel warden and other room-wise facilities are good. They celebrate festivals and also keep Ganesh for the festival. There may be water problems, but snacks are provided. Overall, it’s okay.
Academically, the college is good and there is no need to worry. One can join this college without thinking twice. They will be able to completely experience college life, enjoy fests, learn, and improve skills without any disappointment. So, I would recommend this as one of the best options.
Placements this year are a bit slow, but it's okay as they have brought all possible companies to the college. Placements usually were good, but they have slowed down recently. It totally depends on the students' academics and their own skills, so it is manageable.
They have built new blocks for students, and the infrastructure has improved a lot with high technology. The hostel has a volleyball court and a basketball court. We also have a big cricket ground where outsiders
Faculty should improve their knowledge and skills to explain the subjects to the students in-depth and provide vast information about the subject. The curriculum will change every 2-3 years. Exams are considered regular in the form of in-class tests, and revisions are also conducted.
Students are not getting placements because the number of placements is not equal to the number of students. The highest package for us is LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is TASL and its branches. Almost everyone got an internship in our batch. In fact, some students are still doing internships after completing their graduation to seek job roles there. The top role in our course is Manufacturing Engineer. This is as per my knowledge.
Not that good infrastructure. The classrooms are okay, all are well equipped, but not working. No proper classroom maintenance. In the summer, there is no proper ventilation. All the branches are clumsy in one small area, the labs are well designed, but only some of the labs are meeting today's needs of software
Some of the faculty are way too good, and many of them are just acting like a faculty with no proper out-of-the-box knowledge, all bookish knowledge, replicated, with no proper engagement. While teaching, some faculty are too good, they help to explore the different knowledge about hackathons, internships, etc.
Software engineer, AWS, interns, product Engineer, engineer trainee, etc, roles are offered. Cognizant, TCS, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc., are some of the recruiters. About 80 to 90 in my branch are placed. The highest is 33 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Service now, big works, just pay, TCS, and Infosys hire only girls
Our college has campus-wide, high-speed Wi-Fi available, including in academic blocks, hostels, libraries, and common areas, as well as well-equipped laboratories tailored to the needs of the department. For example, there are computer labs with updated systems and licensed software, specialized labs, an Electronics Lab, a Robotics Lab, and a Mechanical Workshop.
Most of the faculty members are highly qualified with Master's or Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutions. Professors are generally approachable and supportive during and outside class hours. Many also engage in research projects, and students are encouraged to participate.
Prominent recruiters regularly visiting these institutions include IITs, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta/Facebook, Intel, Qualcomm, Adobe, Cisco, Flipkart, NVIDIA, Polaris Campus Blogs, CollegeSearch and IIIT Delhi & Naya Raipur. Including tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, The Trade Desk, Scale, and AWS, etc. Indiatimes +1 IIIT Delhi SBJITMR (Nagpur):
Infrastructure is good but there is Wi-Fi issue sometimes during labs that affects students ' marks during internals, external, and projectors won't work in many classes. Food quality is average in college hostel but it is secure. Our college gives more importance to sports
Depending on individual, some are good, some are the worst, and some are extraordinary faculty members in our college. Practicality is not there in the study. Faculty members are just qualified but not knowledgeable. Semester exams are okay. Pass percentage is also good but with the help of YouTube channel
If I have to talk about my college and the branch, it is good and helpful. About 90% of students in my course have been placed. The starting package is 3 LPA. The highest according to the last academic year was 57 LPA. Top recruiting companies of my course are Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Virtusa, and Zscaler. Some of the students of my branch got internships during third year but not all. The roles offered for my branch students are software engineer/developer, devOps engineer, and product engineer.
The facilities and infrastructure are very well managed and sanitized. The ambiance of our college is miserable. Our college has mess, canteen, and medical facilities, sports, and games. We also have extracurricular activities in our college.
Teachers are helpful. They are qualified and the teaching is very well. Quality teaching is provided in our college. Teachers teach very well and manage the syllabus. They make us prepare easily for our semester exams to gain high scores on our exams.
70% of the students got placed in my course. Maximum package is 50 LPA. Many companies are recruiting mostly Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant, and many more on campus drives are provided in our college. Atleast 85% of the students got placed in passed-out batch.
Basic facilities like library, Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classrooms are available. The hostel facility is not very great and the rooms are pretty small. The mess and canteen are very average, there's no proper hygiene and the food quality is okay. Medical facilities and sports are pretty good in the college.
Teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified enough to teach the students. They still lack a lot of resources. The teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is outdated I feel. It doesn't focus on making students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that hard, the pass percentage is good around 78%.
Every year around 300 students are placed in the college. The highest package this year is 51 LPA off-campus, the lowest is 1 LPA or 2 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Virtusa, and Accenture hire. This year 40% of students offered internships in small startups and other service-based companies.
The college infrastructure is good enough; this is my personal feeling, and the labs and classrooms are average, not so good, but the library will be good enough. Coming to the quality of the facilities in our hostel, they are quite good, and the quality of the food is also good.
Of course, teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good enough. Yes, this course is relevant; it prepares students for future jobs and is industry-ready. Semister exams are not that difficult; we can pass simply even if we studied 1 week before the exam .
According to the information I had recently, just 40 percent of the students were placed in the past batch, and the highest and lowest packages are 40 LPA and 3 LPA, respectively. The companies which visit frequently are Wipro, Mahindra Tata, etc
Labs, classrooms, and library are good. Our college provides us with food in mess, which is good. They also give snacks in the evening time and sports culture is good enough.the best college insfracture.
The faculty behaviour is good enough with students, and they provide support in all aspects of studies. Faculty members in our college are of good behavior and they help in all aspects of studies. They also teach about focusing on career and building things in life. The exams that are conducted in our college are good, and we are capable of answering those questions.
At least 60% of students got placed from our college. This year, the highest package is 57 LPA and the least package is 2.4 LPA. The companies that hire our college are Accenture, Microsoft, Amedeus, etc. Some students secured internships in 3rd year.
The infrastructure available for our department is very wide. Classrooms are spacious. The library is a very peaceful place to learn something new and possibly to develop our talents. The desktop is available to use in the library. The hostel food is homely and tasty.
Faculty members are friendly and knowledgeable. They show kindness towards students to teach perfectly, and exams are conducted strictly. The paper correction was brutal, but it is easy to crack the semester exams when the teachers are perfect
In our college, all students are placed, but some remain because they have backlogs. The highest package in campus placements is 50 LPA, and students got internships in their 3rd year itself in Amazon, TCS, etc. Mostly, it offered roles in software development.
At a rank of 23,635, getting admission to CSE under general quota at MLRIT college is unlikely because 22,100 is a closing rank
Here's what else you can try:
1) Wait for management/NRI quota seats: sometimes they have higher closing ranks, that can range 30,000-50,000. You might have chances if you opt for those quotas.
2) Consider other courses: Branches such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science or Information Technology. These courses have higher cutoff ranks compared to CSE.
3) Other colleges: If you still want CSE and can't get admission in MLRIT college than you can check other institutes that have CSE.
Hiii,
If you're looking for direct admission in MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT), you can apply through the Management/NRI quota, which makes up 30% of the total seats. For B.Tech programs, the annual tuition fee under both convenor and management quota is 1,10,000. For M.Tech and MBA programs, the fee is 60,000 per year. To be eligible for B.Tech, you need to have at least 50% marks in 10+2, with subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Computer Science. For M.Tech, a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant field with 50% marks is required, and for MBA, a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks is necessary.
The application process involves downloading the admission form from the official MLRIT website , filling it out correctly, and submitting it in person at the college. For direct admission-related queries, you can contact the Admissions Help Desk at +91 96522 26061 or +91 98666 52122, or you can email them at admissions@mlrinstitutions.ac.in . It's always a good idea to call them directly to confirm current availability and specific procedures.
Hello,
MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) generally offers better infrastructure, faculty expertise, and placement opportunities compared to Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in Hyderabad. MLRIT is known for its strong industry connections and overall academic environment, which could potentially provide better career prospects for ECE graduates.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
