MLRIT Dundigal Facilities

MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT), Dundigal offers wide range of infrastructural facilities to the students. Spanning over an area of 31 acres, the institute offers a centralised library. The library at MLR Institute of Technology houses more than 6840 titles, 39104 volumes. More than 148 National and 92 International Journals.

MLR Institute of Technology facilities include separate hostels for both boys and girls, which can accommodate 800–850 students. MLRIT medical facility is equipped with a doctor and first-aid kits for emergencies. Other MLRIT, Dundigal facilities include an auditorium, a cafeteria, ATMs and transportation facility.

Boys Hostel
Boys hostels are available for students at the college. The hostel rooms are well-appointed and roomy. They provide students with a pleasant stay. For students, the hostel has a gym and a mess.
Girls Hostel
MLR Institute of Technology provides separate hostels for girl students. The girls hostel has all of the necessities. Students might feel at home in the well-furnished rooms of girls' hostels.
Medical/Hospital
MLRIT Dundigal has a medical centre to cater medical needs of students, staff and faculty members. A total of 20 first-aid kits have been distributed around the College.
Library
The library has a reading space of 400 Sq. with a seating capacity over 500 students. There are 4595 titles, 31483 volumes, and over 132 national and 93 international journals in the institute's collection. The digital library has 30 computers connected to a separate internet server. The digital library is well-stocked with NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) content covering most of the main subjects, as well as e-journals, e-books, and e-learning. The library is fully computerised with a bar-coding system.
Sports
The college offers various sports facilities to the students. Students can participate in both indoor and outdoor sports at the campus.
I.T Infrastructure
MLR Institute of Technology has fully air-conditioned IT labs. The labs have computers with upgraded and latest software & hardware. It allows students to gain practical knowledge.
Cafeteria
The college offers a well-established canteen with a seating capacity of 120 people, as well as Nescafe, Coffee Day, and Cuisine Book outlets that serve students and staff fresh and excellent food.
Auditorium
The college includes a 1000-seat auditorium with cutting-edge audio and visual capabilities, which it uses to host national and international conferences and other events.
Transport Facility
The college offers transportation services to the students and faculty.
Alumni Associations
The college provided Alumni Association Facility for students.
Wifi
The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
Classrooms
The College has RCC building with enough classrooms.
Banks/ATMs
The college provides ATM service for the convenience of students and employees. The college has an HDFC ATM CENTER on campus that serves students, staff, and people from the surrounding communities.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is good and well maintained.As a hostel student,I fiind the campus facilities comfortable for both studying and living.The classroomns and laboratories have the nevessary equipment for learning.The hostel rooms are clean and provides a safe environment for students. The mess food is generally hygienic and the hostel facilities are properly maintained.The college also provides a spacious library,Wi-Fi,and sports facilities for students.This campus has big playground and stadium for playing games.
