48 MonthsBachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Anna University, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
Government Quota-A pass in HSC (Academic) / CBSE / Pre-degree / Plus Two level / equivalent with minimum eligibility marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Only students from Tamil Nadu are eligible under this quota. Students must have the minimum marks for eligibility
Management Quota-A pass with minimum eligibility marks in one of the HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering / Technology as Vocational subjects and any one or two of the related subjects like Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry. Applicable to Indian students. Students must have the minimum marks for eligibility.
NRI Quota-Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education and Training / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu and Universities in Tamil Nadu. Applicable to Indian students. No minimum eligibility marks.
OC-An average of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry [or required subjects].
BC-An average of 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry [or required subjects].
MBC -An average of 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry [or required subjects].
