College Infrastructure
Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. All the classes have smart boards, WiFi and it is often used and it is in good condition. Classrooms are spacious and cleaned daily
Academics
I'm persuading b.com accounting and finance in this college. Teaching quality is very well and when it comes to academics our college is one of the top arts college in the city. Our curriculum is updated to the latest version and amendments of the subject.
Placements
The quality of placements is outstanding in our college.. lots of companies come every yr for placements and college is very supportive in the placement concern of every student... The process is though difficult but we have lot of staffs to help and make it pleasant
Value-for-money
For our course there are 6 semesters and each semester cost RS 22000. I feel it's actually worth for doing this course with this money.. Compared to other colleges our college courses cost less.. so it's worth
Campus Life
Worst feature of our college is it has very small area and there is no big ground and has only one block which can be also said as apartment.. Best feature is it is safe and surrounded with safety precautions.. Seniors, teachers and soo supportive and very friendly in nature. Most of the time there will be a police patrol car..and it is safe and can handle emergencies
Anything Else
Though our college is small in area and cannot enjoy big campus structure...but it is a wonderful college and we can easily adapt into it..and all students are guaranteed with good acadamics and other curricular activities. So overall we can say it is one of the best college for arts for womens

My college is a great place for learning. The support given to us was really appreciable from the highly qualified professors in the college as well as the visiting professors. The college gave more importance to career-based learning than just the theory learning. We were also encouraged for entrepreneurial activities through various programmes.

Sometimes, I wish that I could go back and shake eighteen-year-old me, the one who was so worried about joining a college in general, and MOP Vaishnav College in particular, and laugh and tell her that it would all be okay. My college is a unique blend of the traditional and the modern - a medley of learning and fun. Let me start by telling you about the infrastructure. I'll be the first amongst many to admit that my college campus isn't large, it's an affectionate joke amongst the students that we call it "The Apartment" in lieu of its size. But it more than makes up for it in terms of the rest of its infrastructure. All of the classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art speakers, the microphone for the teachers to speak. They are tricked out with projectors for external learning. Our canteen serves, frankly, amazing food - with a special recommendation for the juice counter. Our library is stocked with books on multiple subjects, and internet access for more research. The college has several seminar rooms for guest speakers, and its several media and commerce labs are fully equipped. If I had one suggestion, I would request that the college paid a little more attention to sports. Although we have a ground, it would be nice if we had more sports periods. My college offers good placement opportunities. The students attain placements in news houses, media houses and even corporate companies sometimes. The college has always focused on bringing in stalwarts from the industry to speak to the students and answer any doubts that they may have. The department of journalism, which is my department, has seen lectures and workshops from news anchors, writers, reporters and editors coming in to talk about our field and demonstrate. It has been tremendously helpful for all of us. We've really gotten to see what our careers in the media will be like - we've had it all explained and seen the proof. About once every month, we have workshops. One suggestion I have is more visits from corporate houses. While we've seen from the media side of it all, it would be wonderful if some people from corporate companies could visit, to show us life in corporate companies, which I understand can be quite difficult to adapt to. Another suggestion is I wish we had more workshops from more sides of journalism - like marketing or PR. The faculty of my college are warm, open, friendly, non-judgmental and really know their stuff. I feel like I can talk to them about anything, and they will not judge me. They have been nothing but supportive of my extracurricular activities as well, my HOD and one of my teachers in fact put my name down for an essay competition, knowing that I would like to go. I feel like they mentor me, and they look out for my interests - I'd never regret approaching them with my problems. My social issues teacher and my EVS teacher, in particular, were amazing - my social issues teacher talked to us about life, aside from our studies, gave us advice, and heard every story we told her. My EVS teacher mentored us about different parts of journalism and said that she'd answer any question we asked her, no matter how ridiculous it was. The students in my college are an eclectic mix of all religious, financial and ideological backgrounds. They are warm, intelligent, bright girls with a desire to prove themselves to the world. I found that being in this environment was very comforting to me. I had confidence issues before I came to the college, and most of them were fixed mainly because of the people that I've seen around me. My class, in particular, is extremely nice, warm, intelligent and talkative (maybe a little too much). Seeing this mix has made me grow up., because I came from a conservative school, and I never got the chance to interact with this kind of diversity. It's really changed me as a person. My college fees are quite affordable for its terms. I don't have much to say for that. My college life is vibrant, and interesting, and filled with different experiences. The one-and-a-half years of college that I've done has changed me more than anything else has. I have been able to change and grow, and have fun, and just live my life, and it's all due to this college. This college will take good care of you. It provides you an opportunity to learn and grow, and you'll lose yourself to find yourself. I'd recommend it to anybody.

The golden period which earmarked not only maturity but also envisaged and taught accountability. The disciplinary structure with plethora of activities and the wide curriculum not only lead to a dynamic academic journey but also helped on the professional front which proved the building blocks of what i am today.Though the amenities were not so digitalized nor prevailed any extra technology which is so in air now but with the simple form of education and with the faculty who made study so much fun it turned many amateurs into strong professional grounds.

M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women provides a great platform for girls to showcase their talents and gives them an opportunity to shape their skills in order to be best at their work. M.O.P is located at Nugambakam which is the heart of the city Chennai. It has been a pleasure to be a part of that college.
