Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering at Nandha Polytechnic College, Erode Offline Course

First Year:

• Tamilnadu: Passed in the S.S.L.C Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu. (Or) The Anglo Indian High School Examination with eligibility for Higher Secondary course in Tamilnadu (Or) The Matriculation Examination of Tamilnadu. (Or) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the above by the Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu. 
• Kerala: Passed in the S.S.L.C Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Kerala. (The candidates who get the D+ grade on their mark sheet should obtain a marked statement from the Kerala state board).
• Other States: Passed in the S.S.L.C Examination of the Board of Secondary Education of Concern State.

Direct Second Year(Lateral Entry):

• A Pass in HSC (Academic) courses mentioned in the Higher Secondary Schools in Tamilnadu affiliated to the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for university courses of study or equivalent examination and should have studied Maths, Physics & Chemistry.
• A Pass in HSC (Vocational) courses mentioned in the Higher Secondary Schools in Tamilnadu affiliated to the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for university courses of study or equivalent examination and should have studied Maths / Physics / Chemistry and related Vocational Subjects Theory and Practical.
• 10th Std with 2 years ITI (NCVT Certificate) students can directly join the second year of the three-year Diploma program under the Lateral Entry System.
