NGM College Admission Procedure

NGM College offers Aided Programmes, Self Financing Programmes, Research Programmes, Certificate Programmes and Value Added Courses to the students. As per the NGM College admission criteria, students will be offered admission based on the merit of the qualifying exam that is for NGM College UG admission is based on the aggregate marks scored in class 12 and for NGM College PG admission, graduation marks shall be considered. NGM Admission Process for UG and PG Programme

• Candidates have to fulfil the NGM College eligibility criteria of the respective programme they want to pursue and submit the NGM College application form on the website of Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College.

• NGM College admission shall be based on the merit of the qualifying exam that is for NGM College UG admission is based on the aggregate marks scored in class 12 and for NGM College PG admission, graduation marks shall be considered.

Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College Admission Procedure for PhD and Research Programmes

• Candidates fulfilling the NGM College eligibility criteria of the PhD programme and have to submit the application form along with all the necessary documents and submit the application on Bharathiar University.

• Applicants have to appear and qualify the entrance examination - Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College admission procedure.

• Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/SET/GATE, scientists working in DRDO/Faculty of Air Force Administrative College, candidates possessing M.Phil., Degree, holders of teacher fellowship (like FIP and FDP) and candidates of foreign origin possessing prescribed qualifications are exempted from Common Eligibility Test.  

• For M.Phil, candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / SET / GATE, scientists working in DRDO/Faculty of Air Force Administrative College, holders of teacher fellowship (like FIP and FDP) and candidates of foreign origin possessing prescribed qualifications are exempted from CET.

• Candidates have to qualify the entrance exam and qualifying candidates have to appear for the interview and qualify it.
