72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Management shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
- The aspirant must have passed a Master's Degree Course in any Management Discipline with 55% marks or equivalent grade from any University recognized by UGC or AIU. The Chartered Accountants with 55% aggregate marks are also eligible.
- The aspirant must have qualified in one of the entrance tests viz. National Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test (Maharashtra) or PhD Entrance Test (PET) of Mumbai University. This is a mandatory requirement.
Admission Details
Candidates who have completed an M.Phil degree from any other recognized University in India by following the UGC guidelines regarding minimum standards of admission and passing for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) issued by the University Grants Commission are exempted from the Entrance Test Requirement.
