The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. It is offered by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).


Eligibility Criteria

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board.

17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission 

No upper age limit 

UR-50%, OBC/SC/ST-40%, PWD-45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects) 

No limit on the permitted number of attempts 

Indian Nationals. NRIs, OCIS, PIOs & Foreign Nationals
