Some professors are very helpful and good but some are ... but overall it's good .Specifically it's syllabus is very good and updated covering the recent interests as well. Overall the academic life is good.
College Infra
Overall good Infrastructure. Everything thing is almost well organized. AND the staffs are actually helpful. Though the hostels are bit old but it's the heritage of ndp . And labs and play grounds are also well and good.
Campus Life
One of the best days of my life's.
Placements
Not a institute that oriented towards placement.
And many is not interested towards placement actually. Though it's decent, not bad for cs department. The other departments didn't participate significantly.

Academics
The academic standards here are exceptionally high, which is a demanding yet rewarding experience for me. My professors are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated, often providing personal mentorship beyond class hours. I am pushed to master core areas like algorithms and data structures through rigorous, regular testing. I feel the focus is not just on grades but on developing me into a well-rounded and disciplined computer scientist.
College Infra
I feel the residential campus environment, with its vast green spaces, is absolutely phenomenal and I love it. The Computer Science labs are very well-equipped with modern machines and reliable high-speed internet, which is critical for my coding projects. I find the extensive library facilities and the dedicated reading rooms perfect for focused study. I appreciate the overall cleanliness and the spiritual atmosphere the campus provides.
Campus Life
My life here is defined by the strict discipline and the mandatory participation in co-curricular activities and daily prayer sessions, which I now find grounding. The residential nature means I am constantly interacting and collaborating with my batchmates on assignments and projects. I love the compulsory sports activities, especially the evening games. I feel I am getting not just a degree, but a complete character development experience.
Placements
The college has an excellent reputation, which I feel significantly helps in attracting top-tier companies, especially for the Computer Science discipline. I know the placement record for my seniors has been impressive, with many securing roles in respected multinational companies. I understand that the process is highly competitive, so I am focusing on building my technical profile and project work to maximize my chances. I am very optimistic about my future prospects.
Value For Money
I believe the education and residential facilities I receive here offer incredible value for money, especially considering the high academic quality. Academics
Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, has a great team of professor which have a great knowledge in their respective subjects. College provide many courses. 75 percentage attendance policy is required to fullfill by all the students.
College Infra
Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc.
Campus Life
Life in campus was an Little bit good.
Placements
Placement was not so good and the 40 percent student is placed from the college. The median salary for the past 2 years has been dropped to 3.2 LPA the recession can be a reason. scope for the CORE science branches this college is quite less

RKMRC, Narendrapur is one of the best college for B. SC. (CS) in W.B. But why it doesn't give any priority in placement? As it is the most demanding question, it would be better to focus on the issue. Concerned authority is earnestly requested to look into the matter which would lessen the anxiety.

I understand your concern regarding placement opportunities at RKMRC, Narendrapur but according to previous year’s report
Around 70% to 80% students get placements. The highest salary package is 7 LPA and the average salary package is 4–5 LPA. Also, around 25% of students get an internship.

The normal eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Math Honours degree course is a pass degree in 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with at least 50% marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics subject or in aggregate from a recognized board or Institute.
