Academics
Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, has a great team of professor which have a great knowledge in their respective subjects. College provide many courses. 75 percentage attendance policy is required to fullfill by all the students.
College Infra
Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc.
Campus Life
Life in campus was an Little bit good.
Placements
Placement was not so good and the 40 percent student is placed from the college. The median salary for the past 2 years has been dropped to 3.2 LPA the recession can be a reason. scope for the CORE science branches this college is quite less
Value For Money
Yes only for degree.

Academics
Excellent faculty with a blend of experienced and new teachers. Department libraries are available at large for the students. The teachers are open to helping the students in academics or other issues.
College Infra
Good infrastructure with well equipped library and student facilities. Clean and well maintained hostels and internet availability. Computer and internet availability is good inside the campus. Sports and other activities are promoted as well.
Campus Life
College and hostels are in close vicinity, allowing a terrific academic atmosphere.
Placements
Not good enough at placements. Internships and jobs outside of the college premises are not promoted. The college is strict and restricted towards allowing students to go outside and participate in extracurricular activities.
Value For Money
Provides good value for money.

I'm currently pursuing B.Sc Statistics from here.So that I can become a data analyst in future. The teaching here is made more interesting by the teachers here in the way they teach and deals with problems. As,the teachers teaching here Statistics and other are one of the best teachers known in Kolkata for teaching Statistics and rest. The curriculum prepared is upto date and deals with all the necessary topics that are asked in various competative exams.But only B.Sc degree willn't work for job

THE COLLEGE KNOWN FOR ITS IDEOLOGY AND TEACHINGS. Our college is having one of the best infrastructure among the colleges which are known for its infrastructures in Kolkata. There are amazing faculties in each and every department & they are always eager to help & guide you regarding any queries with their best. It deals with a big chemistry lab with essential chemicals and with the best equipment in physics lab. It's having a big E-library accessible with highspeed wifi always. With clean space
Campus Life
The college has a beautiful ambience full of greenery. It has hostel for boys inside the campus . There are lots of activities, events and seminars for students to take part in . Our colleges encourages lots of sports activities like badminton ,volleyball , tennis , football ,cricket so that students remain fit and fine always. Many extra co-curricular activities also takes place . Students and staffs they play together and they are all polite. location is quite and good. Yes, its safe. Yes.
Placements
The college doesn't provide much placement as the subject taught here are best but didn't provide much placement with bachelors degree for grabing a nice and huge package. You need to do masters in that particular field but one's you have done bachelor's from here and completed the masters you will see the difference between you others. The college is always supportive towards student and their staffs.
Value For Money
The cost of studying here is very cheap and affordable as compared to other colleges here. The course cost almost in range 10-12k per year as it varies in range. And the hostel fees varies from 3.5-4.5k containing all food and water charges etc. Yes, getting such a quality education at such an affordable price is a tough job with such expert teachers and faculty. Hostel facilities provided here are also very cheap than any other colleges here.

RKMRC, Narendrapur is one of the best college for B. SC. (CS) in W.B. But why it doesn't give any priority in placement? As it is the most demanding question, it would be better to focus on the issue. Concerned authority is earnestly requested to look into the matter which would lessen the anxiety.

I understand your concern regarding placement opportunities at RKMRC, Narendrapur but according to previous year’s report
Around 70% to 80% students get placements. The highest salary package is 7 LPA and the average salary package is 4–5 LPA. Also, around 25% of students get an internship.

how should I enter for a BSc with mathematics honours into RKMRC,Narendrapur?
The normal eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Math Honours degree course is a pass degree in 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with at least 50% marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics subject or in aggregate from a recognized board or Institute. You can fill the forms and depending upon the cut-off, a merit list will be declared.
