As much as we have heard from are seniors and professors, the gardens are quite refreshing. Whereas the wi fi doesn't work very well. There are two buildings, it has a lift too. Birds makes the vicinity more joyful.
Academics
The college is known for it's academic excellence. Big names like Gita Gopinathan, Gauri Khan, Tina Dabi are some of the famous alumnus. The place will ignite the feminist and humanist in you. Professors regularly take classes. At times certain professors can be disappointing.
Placements
The college has more than average placement outcomes. Placement and Internship cell is at your service. They provide you with the information regarding all the internships. Your email will be filled with e-mails of internships.

College Infrastructure
Yes, the college has good infrastructure facilities and good equipment in the laboratories. Both the college and hostel is provided with 5G wifi facility with unlimited usage throughout the day. Every class room is equipped with a projector and clean tables and benches. Every branch has a seperate block for classes and labs. There is a big stadium in the college and every hostel has big play ground. The management will provide the necessary equipment for playing and gives coaching to students.

I am studying btech ece department. I chosen this branch because it has great future, the coming years are about the nano electronic technology and embedded systems. So we can get more information and can get jobs in the future by taking this branch. Yes, the curriculum in the college is updated with the recent technologies. It has a seperate department to update the syllabus every year.
Placements
There are many companies who came to the college to offer both internships and job placements. Nearly 70% of students were placed every year. The highest package is 13 lpa and it went to the cse department. The lowest package is about 2 lpa and the average salary is 4 lpa.
Campus Life
The campus life in this college is good and well suited for the students who are aspired to learn. It has a good library and hostel facilities too. It is fully equipped with 5G wifi facility and mineral water, hospitals and you will find greenery everywhere. It is a ragining free campus. It is situated near the 360 outer ring road chennai near avadi, so it has good road and train connectivity. Every student is provided with a mentor so that you can get good guidance.

Has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We'll maintained classrooms. Washrooms are kept clean and hygienic. Canteen has a variety of options and available and maintains proper hygiene.

Student of Master of Operational Research. Teachers provide excellent guidance and full support. The syllabus is up to date includes all recent developments and makes you job ready. Teaching material is excellent.

Great quality of placements. A number of well reputed companies visit the campus every year and select the brightest students from the college. Very smooth placement process with great job offers and great placement rate.

College Infrastructure
Beautiful and a huge campus with a lot of greenery. The classrooms are equipped with a digital board/projector along with a traditional blackboard. They are spacious enough to accommodate the students. There are around 4 or 5 blocks. A clean and well-maintained campus and multiple canteens with amazing food.
Academics
I did my BCA back in 2017. It was ranked as one of the top BCA universities but I did not find anything exceptional. I liked the way a few of my faculty members taught. On the whole, I would say it had a decent syllabus but is very different from that of a school. A textbook isn't always used and there are continuous assessments which could be a little pressurizing.
Placements
Unfortunately, I did not sit for placements and chose to study further right after BCA. But from what I have seen and heard, the quality of the companies that come from placements are good and the chances of one getting placed are also good enough provided the person does decently obviously.
Campus Life
The campus and the diverse set of people I met are what I cherish the most out of this entire experience. Ethnic day and Christmas are my two most favourite times to spend on the campus. There are multiple clubs, events to join. A wonderful experience indeed!

Infrastructure is good but not the best. Classrooms are cleaner, laboratories have better equipments. There is whole building alocated as library. Sport ground are big enough for football and cricket matches. There are no ragging in hostels, wifi is provided but doesnt help unless you're standing next to the router. Finding food in any mess is same.

Here, teachers give their best to the students. Subjects are not totally updated as per current advancements but extra curriculam activities here cover that for you. You can learn to build racing cars , offroading cars their rules and regulations in the industry as well as you can learn to create simple robots etc
Placements
Quality of placement are fine. Students who get more that 8.5 cgpa and above can have greater chance of placement. Highest salary package is around 12 to 14 lacks per annum. College helps students to engage in various extra curriculam activities which helps for better placement.

Campus life is great here, teachers are helpful, there are many activities to join, hostels are clean, environment is breathful, overall its great to spend 4 years of life here

When it comes to infrastructure, government colleges, needless to say, are the most spacious and ultra developed places as the investment is heavy from the coffers of government. All the necessary facilities and utilities are available in the campus which is spread in various acres. Entire space is naturally green as it is built according to the government masterplan. Cleanliness is specially taken care of when it comes to the corridors and departments along with the canteen.

Well, our institute has a collaboration with the IGNOU and thus we decided to pursue the graduation from there as it complemented the curriculum we have in our professional course. We got the access to the most relevant study content making any aspirant industry ready and job ready. Timely assessments makes sure every student is catching up with the changing times.

Many of the IGNOU aspirants are in better places, all credit goes to the focused approach to the relevant material of changing market and environment. Highest position that a student has achieved is the position in the government departments. Average salary offered is 4 lakh rupees p.a. And the placement cell is really supportive if any assistance is required anytime. There was a particular course related to the Ph.D in which a student got placed at an great package.

The infrastructure of our college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc while selecting a college. We have a well finished classrooms and labs . We have a very nice gym in our college. There are a lot of extra places for playing football. Our hostels are very clean and tidy. The environment around us is very beautiful. Our labs are very excited "Fluid mechanics", "Strength of meterials" ," Manufacturing lab" etc .

Our college has five departments namely Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering. And during this lockdown, we are doing online classes as well as virtual lab classes as our regular time. And our faculties are very good, we can connect them at any time.We are groomed very well in our CDC . Teacher's are very helped our grooming , Languages, body language etc.

The Career Development Cell (CDC) also known as Placement Cell at GMIT Engineering College provides an efficient process of getting students job, by providing professional courses and industry readiness programmes. They also provides technical and non-technical mock interview sessions and soft skills. In the final year we saw our seniors got placed in different companies like Hindusthan Unilever, Kiswok Industries, Allied Pumps, Patton, Amit Metaliks.

Our college is full of green . The college organises its cultural fest every year. The event is well recognised and many known personalities attended the event to make it grand. Library is huge with lot of books , also the mere is a digital library with internet facilities. Classroom has projector and screen with a computer system to display lessons.There is WiFi connectivity around the holl college and we have access to the college WiFi. The college has large sports grounds for cricket etc.

The college environment is beautiful with all the mountains around. And the cold breeze in the evenings. The weather is truly amazing. We feel motivated looking at the weather. There was no day where I didn't do stargazing ;). I could make good friends and get mingled with my classmates.

GMIT has two hostels, one for boys and one for girls. The two hostels are located outside the campus. Every room is clean, clear and spacious to stay, and the food quantity is very good for health. You will get 4-time meals in the hostel. GMIT campus is lush green and well maintained. All the facilities like gym, sports, medical, internet, etc., are available.

My department is electronics and communication engineering. The teaching quality of the teachers are very appreciative. They always meet the queries of students very carefully. They are very knowledgeable. They help us to prepare ourselves ready for industries.

Last year almost 75% of students get placed in the companies like Capgemini, Byju's, Lido learning, Manikaran, Kone Elevator, PWC, TCS etc. Students get attractive package and good posts in the company. The highest package is 10 LPA in the post of Business developer. 78% of students get internship offer in the companies like Danieli India, Star Cement, Patton, P. S gronp etc.

We enjoyed every moment in my college. We have a football ground. We enjoyed many events like holi , saraswati puja , cultural fest , tech fest , and Viswakarma puja. Our campus is so beautiful . Here have a very big football ground .we enjoyed our every moment but in this pandamic situation we also missed our college.

The faculty of Hindu is of top-class and the teachers are very intelligent and answer our questions very easily. They understood each student and provided appropriate teaching to them. That enabled us to excel in all the exams and problems we faced.

The companies came to hire us were of a various different area of the corporate world with major companies being American Express, Gartner, etc. So the placement cell did good job. The average package was in the range of 5 -6 lakhs.

College has top notch labs, classrooms, studios, equipment, cafeteria but parking is highly inadequate. Services like internet, cloud blackboard to access study material, give test was good enough. Overall campus was pretty clean and hygienic. .

Curriculum was of good quality and up to date with the developments in the field. Department was a bit short of permanent facilities. Majority of subjects were covered by guest lecturers but they were domain experts and really helped with all round development of a student as a professional..

Placements of 'some' branches was pretty good for example: Computer Science, MBA. As per my knowledge highest package was around 15LPA, average being 3-4LPA. However no placement facility was available for our branch.

Psychology department always give university toppers so I guess I can't ask for more. Best faculty provided. University toppers and responsible teachers. They believe education is not just in books so seminars and workshops are conducted frequently which is a great catalyst for learning.

Well for Psychology field, a student remains a student after Bachelors but if you look at the alumni board,, you can see why it is worth it. Many people are placed in reputed organizations and some are working abroad. All in all it is a quality experience.

In our college, from our department (ECE), most of the students get placed in IT companies. Many IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini,Mindtree,planet spark etc., visit our college every year. The lowest salary package offered was around 2 LPA-2.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was around 6.5 LPA-7.5LPA.

There was only one building from where evrything was running like classes , admin office, placement cell etc. There was two computer labs where every student practise. There was not any kind of wifi for students. There was not a single food canttene in the building.

Teachers were good at the teaching most of them has done masters in there respected field. As there was no projectors in the class they bring it with them sometimes white board was used for teaching. Yes they teach you well and make you ready for any job inetrviews.
