The placements in my college is good . Every year 70 to 80 percent students are placed at the best companies . The college supports the students in the placement procedure. Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment. Our class is smart class. Laboratory have necessary equipment and assistant. Library have proper space , facilities to sit and study comfortably. There are many sports ground in our campus like football, basketball , tennis court, cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball ground.

My course is construction engineering, which is a equivalent branch to civil engineering. We have almost same syllabus but yes there are some differences in our syllabus, but the core topics are same. Yes i think my curriculum is updated

Placement is quite good as compared to other colleges. But not every department have same type of placement ratio. It vary from department to department and students to students. In my department average salary is approx 6lpa.

Campus life at Jadavpur University is not the best . But if u compare it with the money which a student is paying. Best feature is u can roam around the campus any time in a day. But some sports can't be played at night like football, cricket net practice sometimes volleyball. Student are friendly and helpful teacher are also good and qualified but the is on the students , teacher only guide in engineering colleges.

The whole infrastructure was very good with adequately working air-conditioners, Wi-Fi classrooms, smart library with n number of books to research on, good medical facilities in emergency and to tackle acute injuries. The quality of labs was good as they were very well-maintained, and the canteen provides good and fresh food, that used to be checked out routinely. The hostel rooms had air-conditioners, and good laundry services and no electricity cut off.

The faculty are cooperative and helpful. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable enough to teach us the best of the design as course. The smart board and projectors were used to teach us. We were provided with equipped laboratories for understanding the concepts practically and put them into the real world. The course curriculum was useful as we could relate it to the outside world and the current pattern of working.
Placements
The placements were good as we got placed in the good companies with handsome packages. 30% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 and the lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. Companies like Orient Craft, Shahi Export, Upperclass and some other export houses came to our college. The roles offered were a designer, assistant designers, merchandisers, stylists, and photographers. 90% of the students got the internship from college only.

Campus is very large and has many features like projector learnings, libraries, emergency ambulance, Campus Life is the best I think. Teachers' staff are supportive. And the college location is safe. And college located in middle of city.

Printing Technology is a different subject in Engineering. Many of us aren't aware if this subject still exists but Jadavpur do have. College Infrastructure is good. We have big football and cricket ground. Also cultural activities have been prominent. Labs are there but not advanced with this current time. Hostel Lan is there and food is average.

I graduated from BE Printing Technology. Frankly, syllabus is not up to date with time. But you learn from the best faculties down there. Quality Management, Printing Press, Inks, Material Management are the few subjects which I personally like. And if you want to be in core field then subject knowledge is of utmost importance.
Placements
Jadavpur University is known for quality placement for all the departments. Many companies including core and mnc come and hire students at good package too. Around 80% of students got placed in 2018. Also they have done quite effectively in this pandemic time. Placement process is very simple. We do have a placement committee to look after it. They train and prepare us for the interview process. Avg package for my department was 4.5 lpa.
Campus Life
College campus is too good. We have so many clubs to participate in and do something other than academics. We have chess, music, dance, art, football, cricket, basketball club. Other than that we have cultural fest Sanskriti which is the 8 days fest. Location is in prime center of Kolkata. Anyone can easily reach there and have good road side food too.

Academics are not so good. College overloads you with assignments and worksheets. You don't get much time to do self-studies. Also, some teachers just come and reads ppts and don't even explain. But there are many teachers who really have good teaching skills. It is totally up to you how you manage your time.

Placements records of CU is good. College claims that avg. package is 8lakhs but in reality, its 5-6 lakh in computer science. Generally, all students get placed. Companies with good packages also comes to hire students. Who can crack those interviews and exams gets placed and many others get hired in mass recruiters. Highest package of cu this year was 35 lakhs, and 15 students were placed on this package.
Campus Life
CU is located in gharuan in Mohali district. Its is 32km far from main Chandigarh city. But nearest area is kharar (10km)from college . All shoping malls and cinema halls are located there. Rules and regulations are strict especially for girls. For weekdays wardens call to parent when any girl wants day pass or night pass. For boys wardens only call for night pass. CU takes care of safety of girls. But inside campus is also too much fun . You can play and roam with friends and enjoy your college
