IMS has a reputation for providing great placements, companies arrive with some tempting job offers for students. By the end of the 4th-trimester placement, drives get a start and students get ample opportunities to sit in the interview placement. No the college don't have the necessary infrastructure as well as they don't have proper practical instruments so the students can't perform any practical there. The classes don't have wifi, no smart board. No well maintained lab . Most important no washroom facilities are there. The washrooms are very unhygienic and dirty. The students who come from very far they face a lot of problems. The cows are moving here and there in the campus and they sometimes attack to the students.

As I say the they don't have instruments for practical. I study there Bsc and I have not performed any practical till my last year. The faculty members are friendly and helpful but they only read the book and go.
Placements
No placements available in the campus as it is a government institution and there is no technical field so the college don't provide any Placement. Only general background courses are available here. Only eleventh twelveth and bachelor degree courses are there.

When it comes to the infrastructure, I like the model of my college. It has good connectivity between the blocks, proper and clean spaces for the students to sit, and is well constructed. We have open wifi networks for the students to connect and use it. Classrooms are equipped with both blackboards and projectors for digital learning. The classrooms are spacious as well. The library is another fascinating place for students and is very huge with a good number of books. Washrooms are hygienic.
Academics
I believe we have the best academic quality. We follow a method called WIT and WIL where the college and the faculty strive to build a relation between what they teach, why they teach, and what students learn and why. We are equipped with projectors in every classroom for a smart understanding of the concepts. We also have a good library facility for students to get a deeper knowledge of the concepts. We focus on new technologies, practical experiences, and the innovativeness of a student.
Placements
We have the best placements in our college. We get offers from MNC's like JPMC, Deloitte, and Microsoft as well. Honestly, the placement percentage of our college is over 95%. Students graduating from our college will either get placed in a company or choose their further career options like Masters or M.Tech. Those who choose to work after graduation will be trained accordingly to secure good positions in companies. The highest package offered was around 48LPA and in CSE. Average ranges 3.2LPA.

The campus here has a lot to offer. This spacious and creative campus has a wide range of things to offer to its students. There are so many clubs and student chapters to increase the skills of students not only academically but also intrapersonal skills, creativity and physically as well.

I'm studying BCA(bachelor of computer applications) . This course well designed and all the subject are of great knowledge. This curriculum includes all the recent development in the field. It's good subject , if you want to work after graduation.

Our college do provide good placement. Companies like TCS , wipro, Infosys, CTS etc. Provides placement for 70% of BCA students . Placement process are easy and pleasant. The packages provided are satisfied.

The college is located at the centre of ranchi .although it has no canteen you can visit to any nearby cafe any time. There're different societies which organizes so many activities in weekends. You can participate .

Currently I'm persuing B.tech III year in the stream of computer science and engineering. The quality of teaching is pretty good. They will provide whatever we propose or we need. All faculty are friendly and they'll always show interest in teaching.

Till 2019, the college had a highest package of 14 LPA which is a very good package till then, but now VNR students have been placed at 40LPA, 36 LPA, 30LPA, etc.. I am pretty confident that we would be placed in one of the top MNC's in the country.

IIMK has one of the most beautiful campuses amongst all the B-Schools in India. All the necessary infrastructure is present and the campus is undergoing expansion with state of the art sports complex under construction.

The advantage of being one of the top-5 IIMs is that you could attract the best teaching faculties across the specializations. Although all the faculties are above par, I would rate the Strategy, Marketing, and Finance faculties truly world-class.
Placements
IIMK attracts the creme de la creme of the companies across the industries. Be it MBB for Consulting, or GS and JPMC for Finance, or HUL and ITC for Marketing. The mean and median salaries are both considerably high and the exact figures could be gleaned from the placement reports released by the college every year.

The first year offered a truly holistic campus life. Be it academia, cultural festivals, sports festival, and case competition. The peer learning was truly exceptional as well, given that the students attending IIMK would be amongst the top percentile in the country.

The quality of placements is outstanding . Approximately 70%-80% or the students get placed . The highest salary package offered was 26 LPA to a engineering student. The average salary package is 5 - 6 LPA . The placement process is pleasent in my college and all the faculty members are very good.
