Batch of 2018 | BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering
I don't want to comment upon other departments but as far as as Electrical Engineering is considered, it was okay not the best to be chosen. Had all the labs and equipment (no complaints on it) but faculty and teaching could have been much better. Well people say don't expect much from a graduating college whatever and wherever it is, still there is the onus to do your part which they fall short off. Academically it is fine if you can cope up with what is going on and strengthen your base. Don't expect too much from anyone. Coming to sports and ground, the college buildings occupy more area than the whole college ground. Assuming a cricket match is going on in between two teams on the main pitch, you are left with no option but to vacate the ground for them. You can't play 2 sports simultaneously in same ground. Overall, compared to most other engineering colleges in the state which have better facilities (not labs and equipment, may be professors, infra for sure and hostels) than SRKR, it stands out in it's QUALITY and QUANTITY. After all better buildings and good classrooms won't make colleges better but the knowledge and experience they provide. Though SRKR is not such a big college in terms of area or better in terms of infrastructure, the life it offers after graduation is for sure one of the better ones.

Infrastructure is according to the engineering requirements specially labs and technical considerations Faculty is more concerned about particulars, students can move according to their wish being in permitted boundaries Each faculty deals in specific subject which they hold an industrial experience and exposure
