Admission Process

Admissions to SGGS IET are strictly based on merit only through centralized admissions process as per the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Extracurricular activities are takes place to make student enjoyable.Placement is important part of our organization.College hostel provides us wifi, sports, and dispensary and other such facilities . This is one of the best and autonomous institute among five top colleges in Maharashtra .

Well, if you want to enjoy college life and have fun with friends then you can come here as college is full of many student regulated clubs and activities with good campus.Coming to infrastructure, you will get a very good infrastructure here and you will be provided most of the necessary equipments too.Faculty members are talented and experienced and many of them are Phd holders which adds the plus point of SGGS.Also all the staff members of SGGS are very cooperative and you will feel like home here.College has good contact with alumni and they are also there for students' needs.Hostel is good enough for boys but there is problem of mess yet we can go for it as mess also regulated by students only.but when it comes to campus placement and industry exposure ,SGGS is quite backward.You will not get desired package here also there is problem of industry exposure and internships.You will have to work hard for it. Over all, being an autonomous institute,SGGS is one of very good institutions of Maharashtra and definitely you can come here as it is developing rapidly day by day.It is like home away from home.

I agree that SGGS institute has all facilities that are requested by Students and Students do their Projects, Good in their academics and Teachers are highly qualified and Academics controlled by Administration. The college has excellent hostel facilities, good food. There's always something going on in technical as well as the cultural field. The faculty and staff are supportive and responsive. Study hall, innovation lab are open 24/7. Despite being in a remote location, it has its own reputation and students feel better by being away from all distractions.
