As a student of Sphoorthy Engineering College and am thoroughly impressed by its infrastructure The college boasts state-of-the-art facilities that are conducive to learning. From well-equipped laboratories to spacious classroom. Each department is provided with OHPs, computers, demonstration models, LCD projector etc to enhance the quality of teaching and communication. Each department has seminar halls and college has well-maintained cafeteria. I want to mention a remarkable resource that has revolutionized our learning experience here at Sphoorthy Engineering College is the Apple Lab. The college provides a special amenity for girl and lady faculty. The college is furnished with ladies wating hall in every block. The College has a state-of-art indoor sports room for chess and table tennis. The College also has a Cricket cum football field. The college maintains different courts for Badminton, Basket Ball, Volley Ball. It has beach volley ball court which gives real beach experience. For proper training and grooming of players the College provides coaching facilities to the players for different games.

In my college, the faculty have highly qualified, they teach well. their quality of teaching is really good. it helps a dull student gain the knowledge The college aim is to provide a stimulating atmosphere for young minds to reform and recreate their potentials to break the barrier of success.it encourages the students to do internships and online certificate courses to enhance their technical skills. The classes are good but the computer labs for the 3rd & 4th yr are not that much good as compared to 1 & 2 yr.no proper canteens and no sports time play is given .No gym equipments are maintained well.

From 2nd yr , Lectures are not good , it's completely depend on ur self study. No proper notes and lecturers favourite students get good marks on lab but not the others even if they write everything correct.

Majorly placements are from Non-IT and the packages starts from 4 LPA and whereas for IT placement (very few) starts from 8 and 6 LPA,these IT placements includes of startups only no major ones ,as of now this year.

My fees was 77,500 and I don't think it's worth that much.Becz there's no proper lab and no proper teaching.No proper current supply in college.

Location of college is in the middle of village. No proper shops nearby and no proper canteen in college itself Campus is very large but not well maintained.

Just keep this college as last option.
