36 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Bioinformatics is three years (6-Semester) full-time undergraduate degree program offered by the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai.
The students after completing the under graduation can join higher studies in biomedical sciences, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, human genetics and other life science programs. The student who completes this program will be highly skilled analyst in biological data, informatics and computation programming. Because of the overlap with many disciplines, these students will be able to take an analyst job, in many disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Should have passed HSC(+2) or equivalent examination with one of the following subject combinations:-
i) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics. (or)
ii) English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. (or)
iii) English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Sciences.
