Yes, college boasts top-notch infrastructures with modern classrooms, fully equipped labs, extensive library resources, and sports facilities. Yes, the living spaces are clean, and the food is hygienic.
I did my b.com in this college, and the teaching quality of the teachers are good, and they are approachable and readily available to support the students even outside the class hours. The curriculum is updated, and it helps the students thrive the necessary knowledges and the skills required for the job purposes.
St. Anthony college is one of the best colleges in the entire state of Meghalaya known for its academic excellences, but one notable area of concern is the lack of placement opportunities in the college for its students. Despite offering quality education across various discipline, the college falls short in providing adequate support for the students transitioning from academic to professional world.
The cost for the course is quite expensive for the courses offered in the college but it's worth it for the education we received in the college.
For me the campus of the college is excellence. The nature and the environment of the city is good and the weather is also so good.
Best colleges in the state.
Overall good infrastructure offered by the college. No complaints regarding this aspect but what I do want to point out is, during my batch, elevators were not installed yet and ascending or descending the stairs for attending classes between different floors was a bit tiring. Adding to the same it mainly poses a problem for students or staff with certain ailments or problems thus, this is the main need for it. On the contrary to this, I think elevators have become operational now, so it's no biggie.
Quite good... Our batch was sadly affected by the corona pandemic so most of our academic activities took place in online mode. Nonetheless, the teachers did a great job in carrying on their duties imparting knowledge to us considering it was their first time teaching in this digital way. Syllabus structure can be updated with time.
As far as I'm concerned... I don't actually have a clue on this. Even in my last semester I was not made aware or even heard about any of this thing. It might be because of the pandemic, maybe it had lessen the various companies from collaborating with the college or something... So no comments on this.
yes, it does have necessary infrastructure, teachers are strict and disciplined, everything is properly arranged and neat and clean. , it has classrooms with cctv cameras pre-installed inside the classroom etc.
i already passed out in 2019 from college, quality of teaching is very good , quality of teaching was very good but strict as well, and yes the curriculum gets updated every new year, and yes my study if done well it makes you job ready .
we did not get placement, i am talking about my department(mass media), but other department they had placements. It would have been very good if there was placement for us as well so that everyone could get job and not be jobless like how i am now.
Hello,
Cutoff percentage is unknown as details are not provided by the college officials. If you have percentage above 75 then there is good chance to get an admission.
Admission to BBA degree is based on merit. They might consider students above distinction. This year there might be chance and may not follow previous trends. it can be low upto 65%.
Hope it helps!
Admissions to B.Sc Computer Science in St. Anthony's are based on marks scored in the highest qualification. Ideally a Candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 and for Reserved Categories it is 45%. But because the seat intake is limited and you can apply for only one course at a time, the cut off might increase. So it is always good to secure a minimum aggregate of 60-75% to be certain of a seat. For more information, please visit their admission page at: http://anthonys.ac.in/Academics/admission.php
