The very heart of every educational institution is the library which is the source and icon of knowledge. St. Joseph’s college has got a big beautiful and spacious library. The library has got separate sections for each department and subject. The college has got a number of magazines, monthlies, weeklies, newsletters etc to quench the thirst of knowledge. Books are kept neatly and orderly manner in shelves. The entry to the library is regulated and marked by a digital entry system. The library is automated with Koha software which makes book search easy and convenient. Library notifications and reminders are given through the college message alert system too. There are 7 computer systems dedicated to internet use in the library. There are two librarians who work in the library to cater the needs of the students. At a time 50 students can sit on a single table and chair for their study and reference.

St. Joseph’s college offers sufficient sports facilities for its students who aspire for. College has got a beautiful football ground in front of the Mary Matha School along the side of NH17. There is a volleyball court and a shuttle badminton court in the college campus itself. There are facilities for Table tennis, cricket net practice, Base ball etc. well-equipped fitness center serves as a training ground for all types of martial arts, bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions.

St. Joseph’s College has got well- equipped computer lab with having a sufficient number of computer systems. The computer lab situates in the ground floor of the Rev. Fr. Peter Kaironi block of the college. The computer lab is updated and maintained well in collaboration with Sysnet Computers Kannur, a private firm. The computer lab is profusely used by the students for their academic hours as well as practical sessions. The college has generously opened the doors of the computer lab to become a centre of examinations of distance education of Kannur University.

St. Joseph’s college has got a nice canteen in the college premises itself. Students are ensured to get safe and tasty food in the canteen. Lunch and tea/coffee and snacks are available at stipulated timings. College intends to build a much more spacious canteen in near future.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The physical Education department of St. Joseph’s college is one of the leading centres of sports in Kannur University. It has enough facilities for sports and fitness training. Multipurpose Gymnasia and Fitness Centre for girls and boys was started in 2015. The fitness centre will be open from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm on every working day.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
