St Xavier's College, Kolkata is an academic dream. We have professors who are renowned across India, who are approachable, considerate and caring. The administrative staff and faculty are truly understanding. The experience, the grounds, the people, the fests, everything about college makes it the best time of one's life.

Our professors are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. We have a term coined at Xavier's, that they are our 'academic parents', and they do that name justice. The course material taught is par excellence, and each and every one of our professors is truly invested in furthering our academic proficiency.

I have had some great internships through my college. The Placement Cell is very efficient. We get internships/jobs from institutions like Deloitte, Citibank, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, and numerous workshops aided by the likes of the same.

Regarding infrastructure and facilities in our college is good but not best, it's still old school type infrastructure. We's are not getting that quality facilities for we are pay. Literally 5 students on a medium size bench either sit or just keep your stuffs.

Academics is like same teacher is forced to teach more than 4 subjects, just think about the mental state of that teacher as well as the quality of teachings he delivers to the students in that state.

For placement we have a separate department but when it comes to notice regarding placement there is no such thing exists, only notice we got regarding early payment for this or last date for payment for that.

A big No.

Kind of boarding school more focused on clothing than that of academics.

Students are paying just for its name and for nothing.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure which a student requires for his overall development..we have a library ,wifi facility, hostels,sports room..The college offers you various types of activities..so that one can get enough exposure..

I'm pursuing bcom(Hons) and the faculty is superb..the faculty is ever ready to solve our doubts..like whenever we have doubt they tell us to come after 9:50am in the staff room( as our college timing is from 6-9:50am)

Not much idea but what I heard was that many graduates from finance field were recruited in good companies and were offered good packages..and the placement cell is very cooperative and supportive...there are many graduates woh got jobs and are well settled in life..

My college fees is around 10500-12000 per quarter

Out of my 2years I've spent only 0ne year in college because of the pandemic..so far my experience goes amusing.

As we are studying in the online mode, the batch of 2020 didn't the experience the actual college life till date. But according to all of our seniors the infrastructure of Xavier's is literally very good. Facilities for practicals are excellent and AC projectors everything is available. So, I think it's quite good.

As I said previously we didn't get the chance to learn from our professors how our seniors had experienced. According to my online learning I can surely say that, professors of our department is very very good. And they are quite friendly too. And specially for Statistics, practicals of Xavier's make Xavier's this college best for this course.

I don't think students are looking for placements just after their bachelor's. But some of our seniors got placed. As till now we don't know about our college properly. But I can assure you that this is one of the best college for Statistics.

Xavier's is a private college and for Statistics it costs approximately 30k per year. As, unfortunately we are studying in an online mode, it's quite high for an online mode. But in respect of a private college I think the cost is worthed as we will be studying in offline mode, I hope soon.

This question really hurting me, as almost in the end of our 1st year we haven't seen our college. I'm also too excited to experience our campus. According to all of our seniors the campus life in Xavier's is really beautiful.

For Statistics it's one of the best college but one have to study quite hard in this college though.

Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. Everything is well maintained and hygienic. There is Wifi, libraries with smart facilities and smart boards in each classes. Canteen is well maintained and clean.

B.Com hons, the quality of teaching is decent with quality professors. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. Most of the faculty has doctorates in their respective areas.

The quality of placements is good with great many companies recruiting graduates from the college. With big4 and other consulting firms visiting the college every year with great many packages with highest CTC going upto 21 lacs p.a.

The college course is cheaper than most of the institutions in the same category with fees less than 50,000 p.a. It is more than what is worth the money and all the facilities provided are more than sufficient.

Campus life is dull for students in the morning department following a monotonous routine of attending college at 6AM and leaving the campus for studies of other professional colleges at 9:50 AM. All the more, the college administration is too stringent with respect to certain rules which makes it a bore to attend colleges which they have to because of attendance criterias and the too reach the college not later than 6:02 or miss the first class.

Our college has average infrastructure,with good and healthy food quality.The hostel facilities are good for students coming from different cities to study.there are sufficient lights and fans and each room has projector room too.

I am studying bsc Computer Science,along with physics hindi and evs. During these hard times of covid 19 pandemic teachers are trying to make our class as interesting as possible. Although practical classes online do not give same feel .

Actually their is no particular placement cell in our college thus no average salary can be provided. Different competitive exams can be given by the students on order to persue further studies and get a good job.

It costs 1 lakh per year which is not less at all . But yes because of fame and great teaching faculty its worth all the money. Providing with practical labs for classes and having student friendly environment males it worth.

Our campus life goes as all other colleges.we have all sports like basketball football cricket volleyball and many more.Students, support staff and teachers are too friendly making campus life way better

College is located in heart of the city at Park street one of the most prominent location of the city. The college offers necessary infrastructure and a good library. The college hostel is situated a little further from the college.

The top most highlight of the college is the discipline and education offered with professor having sound knowledge of thier subject area. It offers a very competitive environment to learn & develop technical skills.

I have not participated in campus placements but the placements that college can offer are great considering undergraduate program. The CTC oferred ranges from 5LPA to 21 LPA. The companies which participate are Big 4s, DE Shaw, Banks etc.

The course fees is around 50k per year &very competitive and is definitely a value for moneywhich

The college comes to life through the events which runs throughout the year. Xavotsav is the annual fest and happen in January every year.

The college has all the equipped facilities. Aur conditioners facilities are also available to B.com student. Overall, the living spaces were clean. Wifi facility is available, well maintained premises and disciplined.

It is one of the best place to pursue a subject. The faculty is outstanding. Curriculum was updated according to the latest trends of corporate. The study does make us job ready. The quality of teaching is great.

The placements is good. Students get good placements in one of the top notch company’s. Student get higher salary as compared to other UG college in Kolkata. It also looks towards the betterment of its students.

SXC has all required facilities and equipment and they are well taken care of....The labs are well equipped and the college itself is very clean and hygienic. Our college does have wifi and smart boards and all modern tech.

Sxc is renowned for its high level of education which is because of the fact of educated and professional professors....The curriculum is updated regularly and up to date with the competition. The college does make us job ready by industry standards

Surprisingly SXC students get good placements....some even get 19 lpa package from doing bsc....although it's not 100% placement guaranteed but still people do have options. In average it's 7-8 lpa which is decent for bsc

Our course cost around 1 lakh 12k per year....this is a bit on the high side but to some extent it is worth the money because of the opportunities and experiences we are exposed to.

Campus Life is fun.....there are lots of festivals, seminars and many others which energizes everyone.......Also there are diverse clubs and associations in which students can participate....stuff and teachers are friendly

Sxc is one of the best college in west bengal as well as India which is evident from its ranking and achievements and many dream to enter to this college. Although for me the fees are a bit high but to win some we gotta lose some.

Everything is well connected. Proper infrastructure. Infact you will get a vibe of victorian period buildings.College offers a proper place for photoshoot where you can enjoy your college life and cherish them forever

The quality of teaching is well. Students need to be more attentive and be a well approacher to receive all help from professors. As it is folloeing the CAlcutta University syllabus, yes it is little back dated syllabus. But no worries professors will help you in all this

The quality of placement is not above 2 laks pa. Various companies starting from content writing to managemnt / consulting firms visit the college. But dont expect sky and heaven from the graduation roi.

I had total 6 semesters. Each semesters costing around 10 k to 12k. Total value for money. Studying in this kind of institution will have a positive effect on your mind and will make you feel proud. The college environment is reaposnsible for your welfare. the college provides other opportunities to grow as well.

My college life experience is good. Staffs are supportive. The system of dress code seemed worse to me. The location is proper. You have bus and metro connectivity. You will get a proper corporate vibe in Park street area.

Nothing much. But dont forget to wear your college id cards. Must in proper dress code orelse the guards will not llow you to enter. You have great pubs around the college. A proper place outside the college to take some chill pill
