My college is a vast campus. This college one of the best technical college in mumbai and it is been graded " AAAA" by Careers 360 in 2016. The college encourages the everyone to undertake lots of research and industrial competitions. It mainly focuses in advanced technology and Robotics too. There are lot of social and cultural activities undertaking in the college.OPPURTUNITIES are lot in this college, not only in automation sector but in automobile too.It has received ranked 3rd worldwide and 5th in the Design Report at the Future Flight Design Competition, Turkey in May 2015, represented by Team Vayuputras.Debates,Literary arts and Entrepreneurship is also at apex. Not only that there are so many cultural festivals, and talking about its campus - It is very good and one of the huge campus. But I think the infrastructure of the  campus should be improved.Other than that the college is amazing and  thus offerings the best OPPORTUNITIES to the studentd and in return the hard  efforts and determination of my collegues are bringing out the laurels and achievements for the college.

The best part of this college is the crowd. With so many notable alumni to back the reputation of this institute with a legacy of more than 125 years you will get the feeling of being among the brightest lot around. It has very good lab facilities with many industry collaborations. Placements are one of the top ranking with many students getting core jobs and not thrown into software companies. Salaries are very high specially for non-core companies. Festivals attract a lot of footfall and sponsors and are one of the best times you will have here. Hostel facilities are limited to a few students but merit based.

Review is applicable only for VJTI Mechanical Department (I am not the right person to talk about other departments) College faculty is OK, you will do well if you like self study (If so you will love the big room where no one is allowed to make noise). College placements are good. More than 90% students get placed and avg package is around 5 LPA. Mechanical engineer students are allowed to appear for placement rounds of almost all types of company (Core, IT, Civil etc). Academic pressure is not much and you will get enough time to do things you like. And here you will meet brilliant minds, they will be great source of your learning and they will become part of your extended family. After four years when you walk outside VJTI main gate you will have enough to lead your bright life ahead.

One of Maharashtra's Finest college to study in

Posted on 17 Sep' 16 by Hamzaa Ansari
Batch of 2015 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
The college has a legacy and is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra. Mechanical and civil engineering from VJTI is recognized well. most professors in the department are good and experienced. Mechanical engineering has a lot of student organizations that participate in a national competition like robotics, go kart , off road and formula car manufacturing and racing competition. The mechanical department has exposure to BARC, TIFR, and other good research organizations. The cultural fest and technical fest of VJTI is grand . Students can get good managerial, technical as well as cultural exposure based on their interest. Many of The top companies visit VJTI for placement . It is a government college, hence the fees is the minimum compared to most other colleges. VJTI is one of the sorts after a choice of the best minds in Maharashtra, thus the crowd is good. Good canteen, decent hostel huge campus, decent library are other positives. Lab equipment are old. Plus, being a government college, it has some limitations but the positives outweigh these negatives. Overall a good college to study from which is recognized worldwide.

Life at VJTI is super balanced. You get to learn 'real' engineering as well as you get to enjoy at college events. Faculty at VJTI is extremely knowledgeable and always ready to help besides academic purposes. The college has 100% capability to place students in prestigious organizations. Though the hostel needs some up gradation, still I would say life at a hostel is ecstatic.
