It transfers information in ways that are vital to the operation of modern society. Department of EEE at Vignan’s Institute Of Technology and Aeronautical Engineering college is framed with most efficient and experienced team of faculty specialized in the areas of Power Electronics, Power Industrial Drives, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering and Control Systems with good support from technical staff. The department is equipped with good infrastructure and laboratories like Electrical Circuits, Electrical Machines, Electrical Measurements, Control Systems, Power electronics and Simulation as a part of undergraduate course. Department has also equipped with licensed MATLAB & Simulation and MULTISIM PSPICE simulation based software which helps our students and faculty to forego with their research activities and industry oriented projects. One of the academic projects done by our students was selected and awarded as the best project at national level project expo conducted by Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad. Some of our students were placed in CMM and Level-5 companies. Department is also doing well in publishing papers both at national and international levels. Nearly 5 papers have been published over last two years Also the department has an excellent track record besides co-curricular and extracurricular activities in which our students have excelled in various IITs across the country.
