The experience at VIPS is one that might draw you in, with the campus featuring a canteen, a large collection of books in the esteemed library. It is an underrated but excellent environment to study in
The teachers here at VIPS are one of the most supportive bunch in the campus. The syllabus is enriching with many course options and electives to choose from. Class interactions are encouraged as the professors want a thorough educational experience for the students'
The placement cell overlooking the college is very active, other than providing a not so high but a very decent level of placements, the students are also guided further into their course through conferences, interviews specialised to instruct them on their future opportunities
Vips has all the necessary facilities required for a sound educational experience. It has well maintained sport utilities for both outdoor and indoor sports. We have air conditioned spacious classrooms with comfortable desks to work on.
I’m pursuing BA English hons. because i have a keen interest in reading and writing poetry, and this course will help me hone my interest in the said subject and the quality education here has catered to my needs and met my expectations in every way.
the placement cell of vses is very active in providing guidance for a better future by conducting various workshops, guest lectures and training sessions to polish the students’ skills for interviews. They also guide us through our future options on the basis of our interests and strengths.
Vips is an institution boasting of exquisite infrastructure. The law students are provided with a moot court to simulate real courtrooms. the students also have the facility relax from their academics and enjoy physical activities on the basketball court.
The students of vips are blessed to have a highly qualified faculty which guides them at every step of their academic journey. The students frequently feature in high ranks in their respective fields in the city.
The placement cell of the college is very helpful towards the students. They provide astute guidance and help students search for job opportunities. They also help students in preparing for job interviews.
The college is really beautiful. The classes, laboratories, libraries, etc are always clean. The area is really well guarded. The canteen is good too. The washrooms are clean as well. We have projectors in all the classrooms. There are 3 grounds in our campus.
The professors are really great. We get assignments time to time, presentations and sometimes weekly tests. We get notes regularly and on time. The curriculum is similar to that of DU. We also have discussions almost at every topic.
In the department of vses, the placement cell usually happens in the 6th sem and the students don’t usually take the placements as they want to go for higher studies. The placement cell of our department is not that good.
This course is of 3 years and the yearly cost is ₹99800. I personally don’t think that we are getting our money’s worth, even though the professors are really good and know what they are doing but other than that I don’t see where our money is going.
The campus is beautiful and small. There a lot of activities and events available for students to take part in. The teachers are supportive. The location of the college is not that great as its beside a slum area.
College provides with suitable environment and facilities to get a quality education. The classrooms are spacious and have good technologies included in them (for example projector). It has all the tools required to get modern education
The whole of the academics allows a student to gain the skills and abilities necessary for the professional space. A student learns to critically analysis the underlying meanings and perceptives of a situation.
The placement cell of Vivekananda School of English Studies works to provide students with professional choices. However, it is not active enough at the moment so that students can approach it for job prospects.
With a basketball court, auditorium, digital cafeteria, multiple libraries, fully air-conditioned halls and classroom VIPS continues to provide all the facilities to its students for a memorable learning experience. Each classroom has a projector screen, comfortable desks, and proper ventilation to enhance and strengthen learning.
While the faculty is polite, supportive, and extremely good at teaching, they not just focus on academic teaching but also spiritual learning. Preparing a student for every walk of their life is the motive of our teachers here. the curriculum is well constructed and the academic calendar creates a perfect balance between studies and fun.
The placement cell at VSBS prepares us for a fine interview with the companies that participate during placements, which include EY, Aditya Birla Group, and Godrej. Summer internship programme also helps us learn the corporate environment and adds experience
The campus life is the major highlights of vips as it's competition and fest are most talked events always. The digital cafe serves a variety of decent-quality foods. The campus is close to the metro station offering a prime location and is a safe place for students due to the nearby police station and hospital.
Study after study concludes that there is an explicit relationship between the physical characteristics of college buildings and educational outcomes. And while good maintenance, modern systems, and flexible designs are clearly required, VIPS fulfills them all. The institute has got an eco friendly campus, comfortable, smart and air-conditioned classrooms.
The methodology of teaching is innovative and has a child centric approach. The school has a practical and modern system of imparting education to the children. A variety of competitions and cultural events are organised which also support formal learning. The teachers are adept with the best teaching practice and trends. The well trained, qualified and highly committed teachers understand the well being of the young minds.
I do not hold any such experience as I am still in the second year of my graduation, but I've heard that there are number of opportunities for the final year students, usually from the technical and professional courses such as BJMC, LAW, BBA, BCA, etc.
It costs me ₹99800 per year, yes the money is totally worth it.
There are numerous activities we engage ourselves in, we have fests and different kinds of celebrations every now and then. The celebrations do not hinder our studies in any way, the teachers are highly qualified and encouraging.
Vips as an institution which believes in growth through socialisation and it is reflected in its infrastructure as well. The canteen is a good refreshment spot for the students, where they can enjoy meals with their friends. A number of gardens on the campus also facilitate acculturation where students can sit around and bond. Besides that, the college also boasts of strong educational facilities on its campus.
Vips has an array of well qualified teachers on their panel who capably share their knowledge and experience to the students, cultivating well serving citizens of the future. The college conducts different workshops for better understanding of concepts which are very helpful to students.
The college does everything possible to facilitate future employments for its students by bringing well reputated MNCs to its campus through its placement cells, who have always been satisfied with the talent they find here.
The fee here is 1L per annum which has, over the years, proved to be a bargain. Life at Vips is truly unlike anywhere else so there's no need for pondering over the value of money that is spent on here.
The campus life at Vips is something to be cherished. The college and its various student clubs organise a bunch of lively cultural events for students to participate and enjoy themselves. The college also celebrates various festivals like Diwali which offer further cultural exposure to the students.
Overall infrastructure is quite satisfactory, providing students with all basic facilities including smart classrooms, well maintained hygienic washrooms and spacious libraries,as well as gaming rooms accessible after classes
Department of BA English Hons. is well equiped with Professional teachers and assistant staff to help students achieve best of the results. Overall pedagogy is quite good, teachers focus on holistic development of students by providing insightful lectures and workshops
The Placements here at VIPS are pretty good, they provide us with internships timely. I myself haven't come across any such opportunity as it is only limited to final semester. But i am sure I will get placed .
Cost of course BA Eng Hons. Per year is Rs.1 lakh . Education provided to the student is best of quality which seems worth the money eventually.
It is quite a wholesome experience, college life is tiresome. The thing that adds life at college to be more interesting is the ambience of the college. Events at our college are done at a pretty large scale.
as a student, i really like what they did with infrastructure and clever usage of space. students have a well light rooms, elevators, and state of the art supplies to study and pursue their future endeavours.
curriculum of every department is throughly checked and reviewed by the officials, and the essence of learning teachers provide, is immaculate. suggested readings, extra articles and essays and personalised studies and ideas are always appreciated by teachers and students.
as far as placements are concerned, students can have official meetings and summer-internship programs that circulate through the campus. it is advised to pursue further studies as people might not like how their placement turn out.
the learning experience, college life and extracurricular activities we get to experience is fine, but it could be better. sometimes the whole schedule and routine feels exhausting, but otherwise, learning process students experience is almost worth it.
as far as campus life goes, its fun, energising and cool, but sometimes the routine and schedules we get feels forced and restricting. there’s no boundaries of what you can or cant do in the campus, as long as theyre under the eyes of law
Hi dear candidate,
The IP University and it's affiliated colleges like VIPS, JIMS, MSIT etc. all have 85% of the seats reserved for Delhi students and the remaining ones are for outsiders which has good amount of competition.
Yes, the IPU reserves seat for outsiders as well but you will need a valid EWS certificate that is issued after 31 March 2025.
BEST REGARDS
No, the fees for management quota in VIPS is usually higher than the general quota. Management quota seats are limited and are filled directly by the college, so they charge more than the regular fees set under the government or merit based admission. It's best to contact the college admission office directly to get the exact fee details for both quotas.
Yes, you can get direct admission into BBA LLB at VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) with 82 percent in your Class 12 exams, but not without appearing in CLAT or IPU CET.
VIPS is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), and admissions to BBA LLB are done strictly through entrance exams. The primary mode of admission is through CLAT UG, as GGSIPU has adopted CLAT scores for law programs in recent years. Previously, the IPU CET was used for law admissions, but that has been phased out for integrated law courses like BBA LLB.
So, even with a good Class 12 score, you cannot get admission into VIPS for BBA LLB without a valid CLAT score. The university does not allow direct management quota admissions outside the entrance process for its law programs. You may need to wait for the next CLAT attempt or consider private universities that allow direct admission based on 12th marks.
All the best!
