Now, see, Andhra university & jntuk both are top level colleges in India. So, cut off ranks are also so high. In Andhra University, cutoff for top engg branches like cse, ece, it is around 1000 to 1500. For lower branches it is around 4k to 5k.For aerospace engineering, cutoff rank is around 5000.

In JNTUK, cutoff for aerospace engineering is around 7k to 15k.

It's a tricky question. One is top most branch and another one is top most university  in AP.first , i will talk about branches. I think everyone knows more about cse than geoinformatics. If you go through cse, you should get more placement opportunities than geoinformatics. Every branch has its own scope. But coming to colleges andhra university is one of the best university .infrastructure and placements are also very good compare to jntu kalikiri. But placements in jntu kalikiri is not bad. If  your passion is  to do geoinformatics,you can choose  Andhra university for studying is best. If you wanna join in cse, you can choose another jntu college  rather than kalikiri. Because it is newly established college . If you can study on your own and attending for the out campus interviews,. You can prefer cse at jntu kalikiri. I hope this information helps you.

Well yes, you have scored good. You can definitely get a seat in the campus. You can also get it with the first cut off.

Predicting the minimum marks to get admission for any category will be quite hard because as per avaliabilities  of seats the admission committee makes their cutoff down.

But we can only assume-

Gen- 120+

OBC- 100+

SC- 60–65+

Congratulations for the score!!

The cutoff for boys in BiPC is 9355 and the cutoff for girls in BiPC is 9418.
The cutoff for boys in MPC is 39719 and the cutoff for girls in MPC is 40579.

So, if you are from MPC background you may get the seat for sure. If you are from BiPc background, there is less possibility to get the seat.

However, these results are based on previous year statistics.

You can still try in other colleges as well.

3800 rank in bc-b category may bring you the streams of your choice, but there is a possibility that you get a chance into AU for CSE and ECE. Just wish that most of the rankers get good Central Universities and they join there so that you could fulfill your dream.

One must always have a plan B so should you, You can apply for the same streams at AU, JNTUK, some other government colleges. I'm sure you will find the engineering stream of your choice there for sure. Make sure you fill the counselling preferences well because that'll decide your future.
