Being a BC-B candidate and securing with a rank of 23000, the prospects of getting a seat in B.SC Agriculture seem to be very less, or to be very precise, you won't be eligible to get a seat in Andhra University. According to your secured rank and from the previous year AP EAMCET cutoff, you have not even managed to secure the cutoff rank range. So next time, prepare well accordingly, give mock tests and give the exam. Meanwhile, you can try your luck in the private colleges offering agricultural programs. I wouldn't be able to suggest you with which branch you should go for.As,this is a really important decision amongst the students.You should only go with that branch in which you feel you are more comfortable and interested.It's but obvious that you wouldn't want to waste your 4 years of life in studying something in which you are not at all interested.

Now, coming time placement statistics of both the colleges i.e, Andhra university and GVP. So, seeing previous year Placement records of ANDHRA UNIVERSITY the highest package offered till date is 7lpa and the average ranges around 2.5-3.5lpa whereas in GVP the highest package offered till date is 14lpa and the average ranges around 3-5lpa.

So, on the basis of the placement records I would suggest you to go for GVP.

Hi, I can definately understand the confusion state in choosing between these two college as both the institutions are top rankers institutes and have a special reputation in the country and if I say in between these two you should go for NIT Nagalad rather than Andhra Pradesh .Ofcourse why not afterall it is NIT it's nearly all criteria shold be better in all aspects than Andhra Pradesh.

Of course getting into number 1 college is not likely but you definitely have chances of getting colleges below that.

I assume you are trying to ask which is your domicile. Incase my assumption is correct I must tell you the area you belong from where you reside permanently is your local area or domicile. It does not matter from where you completed you education you always are a local to the place you permanently reside.

As per my prediction you can easily have a seat at Andhra University ,Vishakhapatnam in CSE branch . The cutoff usually goes around 9020. You can also have other branches too .

Moreover cutoff also depends upon following factors:-

• No. of students appeared in exam
• Difficulty level of exam
• Category of student
• Ranks
• Previous year trends
• Seat availability

So this a mere prediction . May be this year cutoff varies . But still I think you have decent chances because won't go so low.

1. Bipc in boards with 50%
2. Child of a farmer
3. The salary or the family income should be under the eligibility criteria i.e activities related to agriculture should be a source of income
