You got 8th rank in AP PGCET so it seems possible for you to get the seat in AI in AU. What you need to do is that you have to go for the counselling rounds for the program you want to pursue. If the seats are left after feeling through GATE then your chances of getting admission are high. Else you can for the other computer related branches also. But it is sure that you have more chances of getting the seat so try your luck and all the best.

Yes, you can get the seat in AU with your rank in any of the branches. I would sugget you that you go upto the last round of counselling and you would be able to get the seat in AU.In the previous years the rank for the CSE branch was 2400. There are chances for you to get the seat in AU but you have to go for all the rounds of counselling. good luck.
