With 316 marks in NEET 2025 , your chances of getting a Category A seat in private BDS colleges in Andhra Pradesh under the AU region are fair , especially if you belong to a reserved category such as BC, SC, or ST.

In previous years, Category A BDS seats in private dental colleges like GSL Dental College, GITAM Dental College, and Sibar Dental College were allotted to candidates with NEET scores between 300 and 350 , particularly in later counselling rounds.

If you are from a BC or SC category , your chances improve further because Category A seats in private colleges are government quota seats , and the cutoff is lower for reserved candidates .

Hello Aspirant,

With your rank of 8649 in AP EAMCET Bi.P.C under the SC category and SVU area, it is very difficult to secure a seat in Andhra University, Vizag. The cut off process for candidates from the SC category is lower than even the 8649 rank, the cutoff ranks for the B. Pharmacy and Agriculture programs are in the 2000 - 5000 range. However, it is possible to get a seat in self-financing or allied courses. Participate in all rounds of counseling for options. AP EAPCET Cutoff 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With 9369 rank in AP EAPCET 2025 and BC-A (Girls) category and AU (Andhra University) region, a seat in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) for the B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree program might be quite difficult, because there are only a limited amount of veterinary seats and typically close under 2000 rank for BC categories due to reservation benefit, especially for girls.

That said, the cutoff ranks can always slightly change each year, based upon competition and the quota from each category. You can still apply and try to expose yourself to second/spot counselling rounds, or alternatives like animal husbandry, agriculture, or allied sciences at ANGRAU or Dr. YSR Horticultural University. Dear Candidate ,
Yes , with a combined rank 559 ( considering local + category + gender ) , you are well within the typical cutoff range for Pharm. D at Andhra Pradesh University.

With 459 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the AU region, getting a seat in SVU region as non-local is possible but slightly competitive. You should apply in state counseling rounds and may get a seat in the 2nd or mop-up round, depending on seat availability and cutoffs.

With a rank of 3656 in AU EET, getting a seat in core branches like ECE or Mechanical at Andhra University is difficult under the open category. However, you may have a chance under reserved categories or in later rounds. Keep backup options ready.

hi,

your son's AP EAMCET rank of 18,036 and CAP quota, he has a good chance to get decent colleges in the Vijayawada (AU) region. CAP quota gives him an advantage, so getting a seat in good private colleges like SRKR, Vishnu, or Swarnandhra is possible, maybe even in popular branches like ECE or IT depending on last year’s cutoffs.

hi,

With a 619 rank in AP ECET 2025 and belonging to the OC category, you have a good chance to get a seat in Andhra University, especially in branches like ECE, Mechanical, or Civil. For highly competitive branches like CSE, the cutoff usually closes at a lower rank, often within the top 300 to 500. However, sometimes seats are available in later rounds, so you can still have a chance depending on counselling trends and seat availability.

Hi Parameswari,

If you scored 842 marks in your Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) and aiming for a seat in the B.Sc. Computer Science program at Andhra University (AU), your chances are reasonably good, depending on a few key factors.

1. Andhra University typically admits students to undergraduate science courses based on merit in the qualifying examination without requiring an entrance test. 2. An IPE score of 842 out of 1000 reflects a strong academic record, especially if you are from a reserved category (SC/ST/BC/EWS), as AU follows the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s reservation norms.

3.  For general category students, competition is tougher, and admission under free seats is more strictly merit-based.

4. The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Sc. programs is a 50% aggregate in the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, which your score likely exceeds.

Additionally, your chances improve if you fall under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category or other reserved categories and have a valid income certificate. It’s essential to apply through the AU admission portal and select the appropriate quota (such as government or convener quota) during your application.

Keep all supporting documents ready, including your marks memo, caste and income certificates, and EWS proof if applicable.

While the exact cutoff varies yearly based on the applicant pool, a score of 842 is generally competitive for admission into popular courses like B.Sc. Computer Science under a free or subsidized seat, especially if you fulfill the eligibility criteria under any reserved category or merit-based admission policy.
