Hello,
First of all, congrats on getting 2100 rank, that’s a decent position, especially if you belong to the BC-B category and you're targeting Andhra University (AU) in Vizag. AU is one of the top universities in Andhra Pradesh and has a good number of seats reserved for BC-B, SC/ST, female candidates, and local students.
Whether you’ll get a free seat meaning government quota seat with minimal or no tuition fee depends on your
With a 2100 rank, you have good chances for branches like EEE, Mechanical, or Civil, especially if you're from the local region. Also, if your income is under the required limit, you can get full fee reimbursement from the government.

Hii,
For Andhra University, the cutoffs vary each year depending on branch and category. For SC category female candidates, the cutoff ranks for Mechanical and Civil Engineering generally range between 20,000–35,000 under AP EAMCET rank. Mechanical typically has slightly higher cutoffs than Civil due to demand. If your rank is below 35,000, you may get a chance in later rounds. Andhra University also follows gender-based reservation, so being a girl in SC category gives you a slight edge. Still, keep alternate colleges ready in case the cutoff rises unexpectedly.
Best wishes!

Hello Aspirant,
With an ECET rank of 1491 from the OC category, it is highly unlikely you will get a CSE seat in AU because it is number 1, highly competitive and cuts off around 300–400 for OC candidates. You need to explore other good colleges affiliated to JNTUK or AU where cutoff rank is much higher. Check here: AP ECET Rank - Wise College List
Hi Rajesh,
A rank of 23,000 in AP ICET is moderate. The chance of you getting a seat depends on multiple factors like category, gender, local area, and number of seats available. Since you belong to BC-A, you have had a slightly better chance than general category students.
However, you can expect difficulty getting on the preferred courses in top universities like Andhra University (AU) for MBA/MCA. Your rank of 23,000 means you have a low chance admission to these preferred courses, especially in high demanded courses/specializations. You can still expect a seat in:

With a NEET 2025 score of 344 and SC category, you have a good chance of getting an MBBS seat in government colleges in Andhra Pradesh, especially in Round 2 or Mop-Up. You’re also very likely to get a seat in private medical colleges under the government quota with lower fees. Telangana MBBS admission is unlikely unless you have local status there. Register for AP state counselling and participate in all rounds.

With a 19743 rank in AP EAPCET 2025, BC-D(Female) category, and AU region, your chances of getting CSE core or its specializations at VIT-AP are moderate to low, depending on seat availability.
VIT-AP fills most seats through VITEEE(their own entrance exam), but a few seats are allotted through AP EAPCET under the convener quota. In past years cutoff for CSE at VIT-AP through EAPCET for BC-D female was typically below 15,000-17,000. You may get specializations.
