Andhra University, visakhapatnam: established in 1926 this state university offers 1020 courses of which 85 are btech. It is approved by UGC, AICTE and has a grade'A' NAAC accreditation. Infrastructure is great with good faculty members. Placement wise it is moderate as only 75% of the students got placed in 2019. Highest salary offered is 7 LPA and average salary package is 3.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters are DRDO,ISRO,Satyam, BARC, TCS

Anil neerukondo institute of Technology and sciences:

Established in year 2001it is a private, autonomous institute with offers 20 courses. It is approved by AICTE and has grade A NAAC accreditation. They have great faculty and good Infrastructure. The placement is better the highest package offered is  29.75 LPA and average package is 4LPA. Top recruiters are infosys, TCS, amazon,accenture, capgemini  and more

And other side Acharya Nagarjuna university, Guntur is also the best college for MBA with best faculty and placement.

JNTUK and AU both are actually well known college in India . Jawaharlal Nehru University is no doubt a good one but it is never a tier one College we can say that it is a moderate one in case of courses, placements and everything. But if we talk about Andhra University then it is tremendously good one. In Andhra University you will get a  well equiped with all the lab facilities and wide range of courses with good placement record. Various seminars will be conducted every week to enhance knowledge of the students. Also the f aculty in andhra university is excellent with their teaching skills and interactive skills with students. Wh ere as in jntu it is not good in terms of faculty and administration.

So I personally prefer that if you want to complete your btech then you should go for ANDHRA UNIVERSITY.

Hello, Satish. You mentioned you belong to BC-B category and have secured 10,000 rank in AP EAMCET. Based on your rank, it is less likely for you get chance at both Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and Andhra University for pursing B.Tech in ECE.

As per records, in 2020, Cutoff State Rank for BC-B was 3636 for Andhra University while Cutoff State Rank for BC-B was 3761 for JNTUK.

It is very difficult to predict the actual jee mains rank from your percentile as it varies every year based on different factors like how many candidates appeared on your session, how tough the paper was along with how many seats are available in different universities and performance of candidates appeared. Based on previous few years trends a predicted rank can be given which should be around 197746 to 222295 general rank and your category rank should be 85k to 120000. Based on this rank the seat you may get in andra university is

Chemical engineering- ews 104889( tough chances)

Your chances are tough. So i suggest you apply in some other colleges. With this rank getting government colleges is difficult
