Here is the eligibility criteria for candidates applying in Anna University who have not completed their class 10th or 12th standard from Tamilnadu State-

First of all, these other state candidates (including Chattisgarh) who have passed any of class 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th or any other equivalent examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu have to submit a Nativity Certificate which should be only in electronic form or digitally signed e-certificate.

The application form for Anna University 2021 is same for all other state and Tamil Nadu also. No other application will be released for other state quota students . Other state quota is applicable during admission only. The application for TNEA 2021 is live and the last date is 24th august 2021.

Yes you can write. you  must include a duplicate copy of their Nativity Certificate only in the form of a soft copy/ digitally signed e-Certificate while applying TNAE

Anna University will started the registration procedure for admissions through TNAE  for other state students. The final date aimed at registration is July 2021.

TNAE for other state students 2021 will have allotment contrary to the region-wise seats propounded via Anna University in its constituent colleges only.  A merit list of TNEA for other state students will be available, and these ranks will make the allocation.

Actually, you have entered the school of study as government in TNEA application form.

As of like JEE , NEET exams there won't be any correction windows for TNEA.

So, to rectify from this trouble you can visit to the TFC center which is nearby to you, and tell your query. They will rectify your problem. While visiting the nearby TFC center, you take your Aadhar card with you.

They will give a correction form in which you can edit the information. The edited information will change in the TNEA website within 2-3 days.

The list of TFCs and the contact details of each TFC are given in the official website of TNEA.

Hello student registration number is mentioned on Class 11 registration card which is provided by CBSE after receiving registration for class 11  from schools along with details of subjects.

You must have received your registration card from your school in class 11 if you've not received it you need to visit your school and collect it.

In case if your school deny then you can visit your regional CBSE office.

TNAE counselling is conducted by anna university. The admission to Anna university is done by TNEA counselling only . Tamil Nadu has released the TNEA 2021 application form at tneaonline.org. The application form of TNEA 2021 is available in online mode only.  TNEA application form release date is July 26, 2021 and Last date to submit the TNEA 2021 application form is August 24, 2021

TNEA  stands for tamil nadu engineering admission , the tnea counselling is conducts by anna university. every year around 500+ colleges of tamil nadu participate in tnea counselling process. counselling is based on 10+2 score, and there is no entrance examinations.

the education eligibility criteria is Candidates must clear HSC  or its equivalent examination  with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together for recognized education board .

now for other state candidates you must satisfy any of the below mention criteria of nativity to become eligible for tnea counselling,

• Children of Central Government Employees (irrespective of their native) whose parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past 5 years
• Children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions who at the time of submission of application for admission employed in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years
• Children of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers

Being from an SC category you can easily get a seat at CEG Chennai. The 2018 TANCET cut-off for Mech/ME was 51. You have a good score and can get any stream.

Please be mindful that the cut-offs vary every year owing to several factors. Rest be assured you have scored well and can easily bag a seat at this CEG.
