The most basic eligibility criteria for getting admission in Anna University B tech in specialisation of Computer Science and engineering is to complete 50% marks in aggregate with physics Chemistry Maths as compulsory subjects. However for selection to B tech course the students have to clear TNEA entrance exam.

Dear candidate, not every class’s certificate is important for the future. However, class 10th and 12th certificates must be kept safely for future use. If your 10th and 12th certificate is lost then, follow these steps: (All boards maybe having different rules, but basic criteria is same)

• File an FIR in the nearest police station.
• Fill an application form, given on the council's website.
• Fill the application form carefully.
• An Affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10 should be filed.
• Prepare a demand draft for the requisite amount.
• Attach identification certificate of a gazetted officer or principal.
• Attach the new paper declaration/press release.
• Send it to the CBSE regional office with all attachments(Address is given on council’s website).

There are only a few seats for Andhra Pradesh students in Anna University. Since you are talking about Andhra Pradesh candidates, so the candidate will be considered under other states quota. Under the other state quota, there are 40 seats for general category students and 10 seats for SC/ST to get admission into BE/BTech. While for BArch there are 2 seats under other state quota.

I guess that you are talking about Central Institute Of Plastics Engineering and Technology(CIPET) is one of the most recognised institutions and in all over India it has a 11 campus in which chennai campus is one of them. Now as you want get admission in this college so for that you have to give a computer based exam ie, JEE entrance exam and basis on the marks you will be getting seat in this college.
