Hey , the cutoff marks of Anna university has never reached till 144 in the past few years . So , i would advise you not to wait for the counselling of anna university. You must opt for management quota.

Anna university have adopted the TNEA 2018 eligibility criteria for all the candidates applying for the btech course offered by Tamil nadu colleges. Minimum Percentage required is 50% to get admission for general category and for obc it is 45% and for SC,ST it is 40%. Last year their cutoff was around 46.2 and this year if they reduce it a bit then you might have a chance.

No, it is difficult for you to gain a seat at Anna University Chennai but you have got a great cutoff you could easily get into some great autonomous institutions in Tamil Nadu. I have provided a link to the list of top 50 engineering colleges at TamilNadu.

Congratulations, you scored very well.

But dear don't go on those colleges who offer you for admission on the basis of board result.

State toppers also do preparation for entrance. They study in coaching center after board result and scored good after 1 year of preparation in JEE.

Don't waste your marks. Utilized it for your future.

you have to download application form for distance education you can download it from the official university website www.universityofcalicut.info .

For access to online application, visit the home page of the website and click the concerned links. The prospectus and details of fee to be remitted at the time of admission can be had from the website.

The filled in registration form along with required documents should reach the Director , School of Distance Education within the prescribed date mentioned in the admission notification.
