Hi Guntamukkala Manikanta.

In Anna University, non-tamilnadu students can only study in Other state quota or Management quota. So, in the case of otherstate quota, fee will be similar to that of govt colleges. but, in managemant quota seats, you'll have to pay higher fee. And, that may include capitation or donation. The fee can be around 100000 for a year as tuition fee, and other fee for hostel, mess to be paid extra.

Thanks.

Yes ,there is an exservice men quota in Anna University . However ,the number of seats through this quota are very limited. At the time of counselling you will have to submit the required documents and Id card of your parent ,i.e their ex servicemen Id card.

2.The counselling procedure for CBSE students and state board is same. But ,cut off marks is calculated differently.

Example

The maximum mark in CBSE exams is 100. Let's assume, that the top mark in Maths is X, Physics is Y and Chemistry is Z. If the candidate scores A/100 in Math, B/100 in Physics and C/100 in Chemistry, then the cut-off is calculated as (A/X)*100 + (B/Y)*50 + (C/Z)*50.

All the best

Dear friend,

The UG admission are based on how many marks you secured in your intermediate (+2) exams. If you could manage good marks then there are lot many chances to get a seat in Anna University Campus itself.

If you are the guy from another state other than Tamil Nadu, then there are few seats for the other state students, so you should be on TOP of the list to get admission into a good college or Anna University.

Admission in Anna university is done on the basis of 12 class marks .

Good luck !!!!

Nope its difficult for you to gain a seat at Anna University Chennai but you have got an great cutoff you could easily get into some great autonomous institutions in Tamil Nadu. I have provided an link for the list of top 50 engineering colleges at TamilNadu. I hope that would be useful for you.
