Admission to college of engineering in Anna University, Chennai for BE courses in based on the marks obtained in TNEA, i.e the merit list prepared by the university whereas admission to ME courses is based on the the marks obtained in TANCET or the marks obtained in GATE

Anna university is one of the most renowned universities of india it is providing the high quality education in technology and engineering. Anna university is providing more than 22 courses including UG/ PG in 14 stream.the university conducting their own exam called TANATA and also accepting the TANCET MBA.

There are a total of 40 seats allotted for Candidates belonging to General Category of other States. And 10 seats are allotted for Candidates belonging to SC/ST Categories. For B.Arch it is 2 seats. Now thes seats are distributed among different regions like Northern, Eastern, Western, Southern and Kashmiri Migrant.
