The placement scenario in Anna University in mba is satisfactory with median package of 2.35 lakhs.
The maximum package goes as high as 5.5 lpa while the mininum package offered was 1.8 lpa.
Companies like Havells,Kotak life insurance,Hyundai glovis etc are among the top companies that visit the campus for horing students.

There are lots of  college and private institutes affiliated under one university. It will be around 1lakhs or more seats . for one private college if it has 5 streams and they have atleast 1k seats considering all reservation and management quota.  if there are 30-40 colleges affiliated then it will be near to 40k seats and many join latter in lateral entry too. so calculating for both the university it will be approximately 90k to 1 lakh.

571 colleges are affiliated under anna university and 218 colleges are affilated under vishveshwayya technological university. so it will be 550k+212k seats in total(approximately). It is not sure as there are institutes which have less number of seats and some has more.

According to me government of Andhra Pradesh will provide you if you are citizen of AP . But for applying it you need to carry a bonafide certificate offered by the college you want to study.

It is Tier 2 ranked B-school.

It is good for MBA.

It's average package is between 5-6 lacs per annum.

It is a full time course and the duration of course is 2 years.
The total fees is approximately 1,50,000 INR.

Although the minimum percentage required in 12th boards is 45% for general category, you need to score well in the entrance exam if you want to get admitted in the university. You are right , Anna university is offering BE In civil engineering under their department of civil engineering , but they are not providing Btech in civil engineering as right now , if you want to pursue your btech from civil engineering then you can join other top colleges in chennai like SRM university.
