      College Infrastructure

The college is having a beautiful campus and infrastructure which is surrounded by mountains and Mussoorie is also very near to the college so you can have a visit there and enjoy the beauty of Dehradun while studying in DIT.

      Academics

The academics is taken care of pretty nicely and the practical are also given thorough importance and all the labs and instruments are maintained properly so that the students get enough practical knowledge.

      Placements

The placements for the Computer Science branch is decent from the college but for other branches it is not a very promising college you should opt for in terms of placements as students of other branches fall short of opportunities sometimes.

Good college experience with various opportunities.

      College Infrastructure

Our college has excellent infrastructure, facilities, and equipment, including: - Classrooms: Smart boards, Wi-Fi, and projectors - Laboratories: Modern instruments and equipment - Libraries: Vast collections, e-books, and online resources - Sports Centres: Modern gym, indoor and outdoor facilities - Hostels: Clean living spaces, hygienic food, and recreational facilities All facilities are well-maintained, regularly used, and support a comfortable and conducive learning environment.

      Academics

I'm pursuing a B.Pharm degree because I'm passionate about pharmaceutical sciences and drug development. I find it fascinating to learn about how drugs work, how they're developed, and their impact on human health. I'm excited to contribute to innovative treatments and medications that can improve lives. The teaching is excellent, and the curriculum is up-to-date, covering the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences. My studies are preparing me well for a career in pharmacy and pharmaceutical industries, with a strong focus on practical skills and hands-on experience. I'm excited about the opportunities ahead!

      Placements

The quality of placements at my college has been good, with a decent percentage of students getting placed. Here are the details: - Placement percentage: Around 70-80% of students got placed. - Highest salary package: ₹8 lakh per annum. - Placement process: It was relatively smooth and well-organized, with some support from the college. - College support: Our college was somewhat supportive, providing some training and resources to help us prepare for placements. Overall, the placement experience was average, with some students doing well and others facing challenges. However, the college is working to improve the placement process and outcomes.

      Value for Money

My B.Pharm course costs around ₹1 lakh per year. Considering the quality of education, infrastructure, and resources provided, I feel that I'm getting a reasonable value for my money. Here's why: - Experienced faculty and industry experts teaching us - Well-equipped labs and facilities for practical training - Decent placement opportunities and support - Opportunities for internships, projects, and research - Good alumni network and connections in the industry However, I do feel that the cost is a bit on the higher side, and some aspects of the course could be improved, such as: - More industry collaborations and live projects - Enhanced soft skills training - Better access to resources and funding for research.

      Campus Life

My college campus is a vibrant and diverse community with its strengths and weaknesses. Here's an overview: Best features: - Modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, libraries, and classrooms - Lush greenery and open spaces for relaxation and recreation - Variety of student clubs and organizations for extracurricular activities - Supportive faculty and staff - Diverse student body with a mix of cultures and backgrounds Worst features: - Limited parking and transportation options - Food options in the canteen can be improved - Some classrooms and facilities need renovation Activities: - Students can engage in sports, cultural events, debates, and quizzes - Clubs for music, drama, dance, and art - Volunteer opportunities and community service - Guest lectures and workshops - Research projects and internships People: - Students: Friendly, enthusiastic, and diverse - Teachers: Experienced, supportive, and approachable - Support staff: Helpful and efficient Location: - Situated in a safe and accessible area - Close proximity to public transport and amenities - Easy access to hospitals and emergency services Safety and emergencies: - Campus has 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance - Emergency response plan in place - First aid and medical facilities available - Regular drills and training for staff and students

      Others

Overall, I'm grateful to be a part of this college community, and I feel that it has provided me with a well-rounded education and a strong foundation for my future.

The college needs to improve its placement rate .

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is pretty good and gives you aesthetic vibes. The library is open to everyone from 9am to 10 p.m., and there are two types of libraries available: digital libraries and AC libraries, which are well-mannered The labs of the electrical and electronic departments are properly maintained by lab assistants. The classroom size is 60 for every section of a different branch. ACs are available in every classroom but sometimes they don't work properly. The only major problem all Abesians face these days is not getting cool water inside the campus. As I am a student, I cannot say anything to a hostel, but some of my friends who live inside the college told me that the food quality and taste were 5 out of 10, but yes. hostels get preference in every event. The medical care is very great for the hostellers as well as the school.

      Academics

The teachers were well qualified and helpful; even if you had a doubt, they cleared it up after 4:30. Every teacher is available after college hours in there cabins and you are free to meet them and talk to them about your problem. The proper study material is provided to every student from the faculty: they use proper pois and projectors to explain the theoretical chapters. I can't say they prepared you for industry basics because, inside college, they are more focused on theoretical.

      Placements

If we talk about placement at this college, it was said that 100% of the students were placed; the average package you can get from this college is 3-4 lacs, and the highest package is 8-9 lacs. Many companies, like Wipro, Google and Amazon, visit college from the 3rd year onwards. But there is no internship in electrical and electronic fields in college; even if you are doing some internship, there is also no relation for that student in attendance. It is compulsory to complete 75% attendance.

      Others

I took admission directly in this college then I only had two choices in term of branches: electrical and electronic. But in specific electrical and electronic fields, the placement package should improve, and internship should also provided to every students. There are mostly some events that happened in the college: some of them are sports events, genero, roadies. TEDxTalk, etc.

      College Infrastructure

It is very good. The infrastructure of this country is very complex and attractive. So we have to look impressive. We should have to visit the can, and it looks good. We can do it better for our college to make it look impressive, but we cannot use it wisely.

      Academics

Teachers and faculty members are good and helpful; they are genuine with the students. The curriculum is quite good; it makes the students industry-ready. There are two exams conducted in every semester: the midterm exam and the end term exam. It is moderately difficult to pass the exam.

      Placements

50% placement rate is there. The highest package was around 40 LPA. The lowest was around 2–4 LPA. The companies are Paloalto, TCS and HCL. The internship facility is not good here and too many internships are there. You pay and you get an internship. The mass recruitment of students is there.

      College Infrastructure

DIT University in Dehradun has a modern campus. During my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, the facilities were great. We had advanced computer labs, modern classrooms, and a good library. The campus was big with lots of greenery, perfect for studying and relaxing. There were also fun activities like a gym, a basketball/badminton court.

      Academics

The Computer Science and Engineering program at DIT University was tough and had both current and outdated courses like C, C++. We learned about programming, algorithms, and more. Some teachers were experienced and friendly. During our time there were not much courses that makes us job ready, but with the competitive environment we ourself got job ready

      Placements

Well about 80% of my batchmates were placed and around 20% had multiple job offers, but as expected of private college, avg package was around 4-5lakh CTC. Only CSE had best offers, max package was around 15 lakh

      Value for Money

Including hostel my yearly course was around 3lakh. so total cost for me was around 12lakh. Based on environment, mountains and around good teachers it was worth it

My Life at DIT University, Dehradun

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

DIT University has a modern and expansive campus between Mussoorie's mountains. During my time in BTech from IT, we had access to high-quality facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, computer labs with the latest software, etc.

      Academics

The curriculum covered key IT topics such as software engineering, database management, networking, AI-ML, Cybersecurity, etc. The faculty is experienced and approachable, and the college really follows an open-door policy.

      Placements

The placement cell needs to become more robust. During my final year, we had multiple campus placement drives, and many of my classmates, including myself, secured campus placement in reputed IT firms, but the placement isn't 100%.

      Value for Money

The fees at DIT Dehradun are higher than those of other colleges, especially for courses like BTech Computer Science and Information Technology. But considering the faculties, quality of education, and other facilities, the fees are reasonable.

      Campus Life

There were many clubs, societies, etc. We had annual festivals and events that brought the whole campus together, creating a sense of community and fostering lasting friendships. These experiences were as valuable as the academic learning, contributing to a well-rounded college life.
