Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. I’ve spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. I’ve tried summing up my experience so far, below:

If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available.

Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic.

I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge.

Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculties. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students.

Lpu has a world class infrastructure. It has 7 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. 6 out of 7 have attached bathroom in boys hostel but all in girls hostel have attached bathrooms.There are many variety of rooms are available depends on your choice like 1 seater ac/non-ac, 2 seater ac/non-ac and many more.There are apartments also available in lpu campus so if you want to go for apartment then also you can opt it for. Along with all this lpu also provides free WiFi.

LPU is a definately a good university where you will get lot to explore if u will apply efforts. As there are lot of students, so lot of opportunities are also there in all fields of life like sports,act,swimming,dancing and many more.The main thing is that you have to explore,if u will waste your time in sleeping and using phone in the hostel than definately u will regret. It's my suggestion at least follow one sports,join for that sport club or acting,dancing as your passion and always try to indulge yourself in something.

LPU believes in transforming the India through transforming education. The very first step towards achieving this transformation is by providing a healthy, supportive and secure atmosphere for the students to study in. This makes the university one of the safest campus in India and contributes to the progress and well being of the country's youth.

I can't comment on DIT but as an Alumni of LPU, I can proudly say that LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Lovely professional university, punjab and  DIT, dehradun both are good and reputed universities but when it comes to choose one then one should choose the best one.So you should serf the official websites of both universities and then dicide the best option.

Both the  are renowned private universitties. Each one of these are providing ample opportunities to students by which they can fulfill their dreams. But the latest ranking of NIRF gave good rankings to LPU as compare to DIT Dehradun. Along with this, LPU is giving very good scholarship to the students. LPU has many qualities which are really important for the students good faculty, infrastructure, events, placements etc. But it is advisable that you should both campus and websited, you, yourself can find the difference. Take your decision wisely.

Both are private universities.
Both have a brandname in market.
MNCs are coming to recruit from both.
But what i like in LPU is their scholarship scheme ( which is available for whole course duration) and their fee is also LESSER than DIT, dehradun
"It never hurts to get something extra along with Placements" In LPU, they have a complete shopping mall within the university, which is quite good thing as there are bank branches, Post Office, and all kind of stores within the campus.
Whatever you need, you will get it within the university most of the times. Whether it is a pen or a laptop. Clothing or Gift items. You can get it within there.

You should choose Lovely professional university because  my  younger  sister is also Lpu student ,she told me it is very good campus ,provide all facilities like good teaching and good placement .For detailed information go to the official site of LPU.

DNT Dehradun is a better option go for it.

Choosing one from plenty of options is really difficult. Before choosing any college for B.Tech , you should be aware about the practical knowledge that university is providing.
