B.Tech	240	Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 12th standard level are eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree Programmes. However,
B.Sc	120	Candidates appearing for the GIETEE should have either completed or shall be appearing , in any one of the following qualifying examinations: The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi). Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. As per GIET UNIVERSITY norms, NIOS candidates are also eligible to apply. They should submit Migration-Cum-Transfer certificate at the time of admission.
BCA	60	The eligibility criteria for BCA is a pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate.
BBA	60	The final examination of the 10+2 Arts/Commerce/Science (Minimum 50%) system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi) or any other equivalent board recognized by Govt of India.

GIET University, Gunupur, provides a two-year full-time postgraduate program comprising Master of Technology (M.Tech), MA, M.Sc, MBA, and MCA. These programs are approved by AICTE, offering advanced education opportunities for students.

M.Tech	18	Minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10-point scale) in B.E. /B. Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches, Candidates who have a valid GATE score, are eligible to apply for M. Tech.
MA	30	Graduation from any recognised University or UGC/AICTE recognised Institute/College in any stream with English as compulsory subject with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or CGPA of 5.5 for Gen/OBC and 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST Category.
M.Sc	24	Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognised college/ university. Minimum marks that candidates need to secure in graduation in order to be eligible for an MSc course is usually 50 – 60%. However, the required percentage might change depending on the policy of a university or institute in which a candidate is applying.
MBA	120	Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
MCA	120	The eligibility criteria for MCA is a 50% aggregate & Above in Graduation (Sc/Arts/Commerce).The student needs a 50% aggregate In Maths / Statistics / Comp. Sc./ Comp.Prog./ Comp.Applic. / Business Maths / Business Stats.(Either At 10 + 2 or Degree Level)to be considered eligible for MCA.

GIET University M.B.A Eligibility

Admission shall be made through rank obtained in GIETEE/CMAT/MAT/ CAT/XAT/OJEE.
50% seats are reserved for the OJEE counselling process and rest 50% seats will be filled up by counselling by GIET University on the rank obtained in GIETEE.

GIET University PG Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses should fill up the application form.
GIET University provides admission to PG courses based on merit GATE/JEE Main/CAT and other examinations.
Candidates who meet the GIET Universitycutoff should register themselves for the counselling and further admission process.
The final admission is done after document verification and payment of fees.

GIET University Ph.D Admission 2024

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by GIET University, Gunupur.

I chose to study MBA at GIET due to the standard of teaching. Most teachers hold a Ph.D., and they are all highly qualified teachers. They are excellent teachers who can make the subjects more engaging. The curriculum has been updated to reflect current industry demands and is highly relevant.

Academics in GIET University is not the best thing you will get. But unlike other private colleges, here the students can get better knowledge. The teachers here are mostly experienced and are really helpful. Students don't just learn their subjects but also real life skills.

Bca course Good or Not in GIET University Gunupur

GIET University is a private state university which is UGC approved and NAAC Accredited. The university offers the 3 years, BCA degree program. The total fees for the course is around Rs. 1.5 lacs and there are 60 seats for the course.

The university have a well maintained campus with good infrastructure. The faculty members are also good. But the placement rate for the BCA course isn't that great (around 56% for BCA course) and the median package is around Rs. 2.5 LPA CTC.

Its now upto you if you wish to go for the course, then you can obviously go for it without any doubt.

Could you please tell me,what is the average package of Chitkara University and GIET University gunupur for btech Computer Science ????

Chitkara University provides excellent opportunities to their students by inviting top companies and industries around India.

The Highest Package is 29.3 lpa for CSE Branch. But the average package for a CSE student is 6lpa.

Companies like Amazon, DELL, Cognizant, Microsoft, Google, Infoysis, Tcs regularly visit the campus for placement. Overall the students of CU in CSE branch receives a good package.

Is GIET university gunupur good for bca ?

Hello,

Yes, GIET University gunupur is good for BCA course.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a three year undergraduate degree course in Computer Applications and it is divided into six semesters. The course curriculum is a mixture of Computer Science, Management and Engineering applications.

The eligibility criteria is you should be 12th passed with mathematics as one of the subject and you should have scored minimum 50% marks in total.
