Our college is just overrated

Academics

Some teachers are helpful, but some are very arrogant and rude. They debarred students even if they have medical problems. They charge Rs. 100 per class from students for a remedial class to increase attendance, but still, students were debarred after taking remedial classes

College Infra

In our course, most of the furniture is poor or too old. Even systems do not work properly, and they are still using old software, and they are not using the latest Windows version. Classrooms are too small and the ratio of the benches and students is not even, so some students sit on the floor

Placements

Placements are not available in the B.Sc. in Animation and Gaming department, even though the department is not registered for placements either. Only 5 or 6% of students got internships in college, and the rest students got internships on their own.

"Academics at GEU are strong—smart classrooms with projectors, well-equipped computer and science labs, huge library with e-books, 24x7 Wi-Fi, experienced faculty, coding clubs, workshops, and regular seminars from industry experts. Teachers are strict but supportive, and exams + assignments keep you on your toes. If you’re serious, you’ll learn a lot; if not, it can feel heavy

College Infra

Graphic Era has good classrooms, big library, modern labs, hostels, sports area, cafeterias & full Wi-Fi. Campus looks nice and feels like a good place to study + chill.overall nice infrastructure but room for improvement.

Placements

Highest package peaked at ₹61.99 LPA, topping that off in CSE with multiple students hitting it. Average package in the previous year hovered around ₹5 LPA—and for CSE, it's been more like ₹6 LPA. Median salaries (NIRF) for UG four-year courses were around ₹6.5 LPA in 2024. Top recruiters partying on campus include Google, Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, Flipkart, TCS, KPMG, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs.

We have the best infrastructure for the MBA students , with full industry exposer and the best and the modern teaching facilities one can get around the state , we have grounds also so that students get the best of it

Campus Life

Campus life is really joyful and the lots of events are conducted so that students can get the exposer and they can express themselves in whatever way they can , sports is also the very good with all the equipment's

Placements

the placement quality is really good for the students of Master in business administration , our alumnae are also having very good position in the industry which really helps in the placements and also the give seminar

Value For Money

it is value for money , we have the best infrastructure we can get , also with the best teaching facilities the whole course is around 4-5 lakhs but it is totally worth it , as taken into the consideration of the exposer they offer

Graphic Era Hill University GEHU, Dehradun is a UGC verified Private Engineering University established in 2011.

------ According to the details available online, 1st year course fee for Bachelor of Technology, BTech program is around Rs 2.75 Lakhs. Also various scholarships are provided to deserving students .

As per the reviews available online Companies like Amazon, Adobe, Accenture etc. visit the campus. Almost every student who studies hard can easily get placed. The highest package offered was around Rs 55 lakh(last year) and the average package is around 5 lakhs.

D Let me know Girls Hostel fee

Hello Student
You have not mentioned the name of your college,And the name of home town wher you are resident. IF your home address is about not.less than 10km far from your home then you will be eligible for getting hostel fecility. In general in a Gov college hostel fees for lodging in 3000of rupees and food charges will be 3000-4000 per month.But in private colleges this hostel fees are more than the Govt colleges.In private colleges The hostel fees for girls vary from 60,000-1,20,000 per month ..
