Hi
UPSEEE has been discontinued from year 2021. Now AKTU counselling is done on the basis of JEE Main.
HBTU takes admission on the basis of JEE Main. You need to apply for HBTU on their site. They do their own college level counselling.
Get more details on HBTU here: https://www.careers360.com/university/harcourt-butler-technical-university-kanpur
Hope it helps
Hi aspirant, since you want a Mechanical seat in HBTU with CRL 94250 rank in JEE Mains exam so based on that let me tell you that most probably there are the chances that upto 3rd round of counselling session you will be able to grab a seat in Mechanical branch in HBTU, Kanpur.
Thank You.
Hi,
This year JEE doesn't have 75% cutoff criteria due to COVID so you are eligible to get admission in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. However, the seat allotment depends on various factors like Seats available, category of student, home state of student etc. Your profile says you belong to UP. So, your home state quota will fall under NIT Allahabad. NIT Allahabad has higher cutoff so it would be difficult for you to get that. I suggest you to go for UP State councelling.
In order to know what colleges you could get, you should use this tool: JEE Mains College Predictor
Thanks!!!
Hello,
As there are 4 rounds in cutoff list admission procedure for hbtu. It's hard for you to get admission in first round.
But you have chances in remaining rounds for branches like
B. Tech Plastic Technology,
B. Tech Paint Technology,
B. Tech Oil Technology,
B. Tech Leather Technology,
B. Tech Food Technology,
B. Tech Bio – chemical Engineering
According to previous years records this are the branches you may get admission in 2nd, 3rd or 4th round in hbtu.

Hello, Ravi
First and foremost,
congratulations on achieving an 29k rank in the JEE . According to recent reports, hbti may not accept admmision through Upsee. HBTI KANPUR is moving its intake to the Jee mains, which is wonderful news because it means more intake. And, based on your ranking, you will very certainly be offered a spot in the second round of counselling.
Visit http://hbtu.ac.in/ for further information.
Best wishes:)
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there . The last year cut off for electonics branch in HBTU is given to be 67506 . The additional round cut off is not mentioned on the site , Therefore you can definitely try for electronics seat in physical round but nothing can be said whether you will get your desired branch or not . You can get electrical , civil , mechanical , chemical branches etc in HBTU

Wish you all the very best!
Hello,
Let us compare the two on the basic parameters so that you can figure out yourself.
Now, having given you all the insights, its your decision to choose.
All the best.
Nice infrastructure, building are well developed or in a good condition.. Campus is well equipped with water coolers and cycle facilities. All branches has there separate buildings except some technology branches. Infrastructure can become better.
the infrastructure seriously lags behind modern standards. Many buildings appear outdated and poorly maintained. Classrooms often lack proper ventilation, and some even lack functioning fans or projectors. The hostel facilities are below average, with issues like old furniture, unhygienic bathrooms, and irregular water supply. Wi-Fi is unreliable, and basic amenities like clean drinking water and proper sanitation in many blocks need urgent improvement. The campus has potential but clearly needs significant renovation and modernization to match the level expected from a reputed government engineering institute.
East campus is quiet well designed and maintained with its hostels, lecture halls, canteen, offices but west campus need to improve like hostel there feel too old and need some repair and need canteen
