When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

• Placement

If you consider all this factors then you will not find any big difference between these two colleges. Both of the colleges have very good infrastructure such as labs, libraries and they are very well equipped. To get into IIIT Allahabad,one should get good rank in JEE Mains. Admissions in IIIT Allahabad is not on 12th marks but it is based on JEE Mains Rank. Top 20 percentile was used as an criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced , although this year they have removed any such criteria because of obvious reasons.

So, In short to get in IIIT Allahabad,you should have good Rank in JEE.

Both IIIT Allahabad and NIT Allahabad Government/Public Institutes. According to the NIRF rankings, MNNIT Allahabad was ranked 48th among engineering colleges and IIIT was ranked 103 among engineering colleges in India.

IIIT Allahabad

Eligibility: Minimum 60% marks in 10+2 examination with science stream ( physics, chemistry and mathematics)

Admission is through JEE MAIN

NIT Allahabad

Eligibility:  Minimum 75 % in 10+2 examination with science stream (PCM)

Both Colleges have good coding culture. Most of the students are those who got good rank in JEE-Mains. You can see that both colleges have good Placement record for CSE students. This can only happen if college have good coding atmosphere. Both institute have average package around 8-9Lakh . If you are average student then you get placed at good package.

While deciding which college is best, you have to look at various factors. One of the factors is Ranking. DTU is ranked at 36 , IIIT Allahabad is at 48, While NSUT is ranked at 76. All these rankings is of NIRF 2020.

The Other factor is how good are they in campus placement.

Median Salary mentioned by college in NIRF Document for four year undergraduate program:

DTU - 9 Lakh

NSUT- 11 Lakh

IIIT Allahabad- 12.9 Lakh.

These Median Salary is based on No. Of students placed. DTU has more students than IIIT-A. Based on these IIIT-Allahabad seems to be best among these two as it had better placements and rankings.
