All three are among the top colleges in India. Placements are also good for all of the three. I am comparing the three colleges based on following criteria:

1. Campus : VIT > NIT-Allahabad > IIIT-Allahabad.

2. Placement: IIIT ALLAHABAD > NIT- ALLAHABAD >VIT

3. Research : IIIT-Allahabad >VIT>NIT-ALLAHABAD.

4. Fees (lower fees is ranked Higher): NIT-ALLAHABAD >IIIT-ALLAHABAD>VIT.

All the comparison are done by me on the basis of information available. I hope this helps you.

The fees in NIT Allahabad depends on your Family income. If your family has income in between 1 lakh - 5 lakh then you can get remission of the fees.

NIT Allahabad charges around 56000 per semester for those who have income in between 1-5 Lakh. And for students who had income more than 5 lakh, they had to pay 98000 per semester.

IIIT- Allahabad charges around 98000 per semester. All the fees mentioned doesn't include Mess Charges.

Caution Money - 3,000

Tuition Fee (per Semester) - 62,500

Other fees (per Semester) -  19,000

Total -  84,500

Since your family income is in between 1Lakh-5 Lakh, you could get remission of 2/3 fees.

IIIT Allahabad Fees structure :

The total fees that are paid in a semester is 62,400 . This doesn't include Mess fees.

Hope you are doing well!

With 80 percentile in CAT, you chances stand very weak as a minimum of 85% keeps you on a safer edge. Previous year IIIT cut-offs also lie between 85-88 percentile.  The other eligibilty criteria include minimum aggregate of 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD) from a recognized university.  I would suggest you to look for some other college or appear for CAT next year if you are willing to go for IIIT Allahabad.

Yes, even if you are 2 year dropper you can definitely get into IIIT Allahabad or any other IIITs, nits, gftis.

This is because,

Admission in IIIT Allahabad  is through jee main and for jee main , one is eligible for 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th.

So, after 2 years of drop, it will be your last attempt for Jee main.

For example,

If you pass 12th in 2021 , then after two years of drop jee main 2023 will be your last chance.

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

--------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification.

--------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2021 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019

--------) There is no age limit to be eligible

--------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off.

Yes, as per your graduation aggregate, you are eligible to apply for admission to IIT Hyderabad. However, to get selected for admission, you will have to appear for the Post Graduate Entry Exam (PGEE) which is conducted by IITH for admission to MS and M.Tech programs.

The admission procedure for IIT Hyderabad consists of the following steps:

1. The candidates will have to apply for the PGEE exam and pay the application fee through the official website.

2. The candidates will have to appear for the PGEE entrance test which will consist of two sections: General Aptitude and Subject Papers.

3. If the candidates qualify the entrance test, they will have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview round.

4. If the candidates qualify all three rounds, admission will be provided to the candidate.
