See, there are plenty of Government colleges but admissions are through state entrance exams or through JEE Main. Also since there are so many, you will have to specify which state and what your qualifications are and if you have appeared for any entrance tests.

• IIIT Allahbad - the college has wonderful placements for all  branches and average package has been exponentially high at 12lacs.
• NIRMA- Best in class for Core companies and has many accreditation, average package is 5lpa and fees are 6.5Lacs dor 4year duration.

• VIT Vellore- Great faculty and infrastructure, average package around 5LPA.
• SRM Chennai-. Amazing for CSE and has seen big ticket offers for more than 50lakh plus salary, average salary at 5.5Lpa.
• IIIT Trichy- Return On investment is mediocre as vaerage package is low compared to other IIITs.
• IIIT Sri City - college has great international collaboration but average package is low at 5LPA.

Last year closing rank for 7th round at IIIT,allahabad for OBC category was 4608 for electronics and communication and 2769 for IT. There is neither computer science nor home state quota.

IIIT Allahabad is a low average college offers a 2 year MBA degree for a total fee of Rs. 2.72 lakhs. According to last year, placement reports only 55% of the students were placed on campus with an average package of Rs. 4.32 lakhs per annum and the minimum package of 3.6 lakhs.

KJSIMSR: 100% placement, fees - Rs. 11.99 lakhs, Avg. Package - Rs. 9.19 lakhs per annum

TAPMI: 100% placement, fees - Rs. 13 lakhs, Avg Package - Rs. 10.06 lakhs per annum, Maximum - Rs. 19. 4 lakhs per annum

BIM: 100% placement, Fees - Rs, 6.97 lakhs, Avg, Package - Rs. 6 lakhs per annum, maximum - Rs. 14 lakhs per annum

I will highly recommend you to go for TAPMI then KJSIMSR then BIM and the IIIT Allahabad because the fee is only one time investment and if you initially start your job after MBA then your growth rate will be very high, you can cover up your fees in 2-3 years and then lifetime you will grow 10 times faster than the one starting initial job with less package. 

And you can see there is not even any surity that you will get on-campus placed in IIIT Allahabad. It's the worst choice wrt options you have.

Placements are average in IIIT Allahabad for M.Tech in microelectronics. Faculty is good if you are really want to learn and explore different things, you have a lot of opportunities.
